Medical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 5th Edition, Kindle Edition

My MSN-ACNP program required this for pharmacology. At times, it isn’t an easy read— usually the first few pages of each chapter are pretty meaty. Then there will be an overview/brief refresher of patho/clinical conditions associated with the meds from the chapter (which I found helpful and very straightforward), followed by the MOA of the meds. Sometimes it took effort to study the chapters, but it led to an A in the course, and a few semesters later I’ve found the information I learned to be applicable. I feel this book gave me a solid enough grasp that it made things much easier down the road, in terms of courses & rotations. It’s one that I still tend to use to and will hang on to for reference.
