Extremely pleased as wanted to be able to feed birds but don't have trees in garden. Lovely that rainwater doesn't get trapped in bottom

Easy to relocate the tray of bird food to elsewhere if needed or removed away quickly from unwanted squirrels and wood pigeons and pesky starlings without having to chase them away all the time. Most annoying when the smaller birds lose out. The wire mesh construction is well made and allows for the rain water to pass through and possible help to dry out the food if it gets wet. At night time for example you are not accidently unintentionally feeding the rats mice and other creatures of the night whilst you are sleeping. So much easier to refill these trays in the same place where your bird food is stored and kept, rather than taking the food outside to the feeder in the rain. Easier to keep clean - and cheap enough to replace. Also works well in bird houses and on open decks. Easy to locate to anywhere with a flat surface. Great product. Well pleased.

Attracts ground-feeding birds

The smaller birds - sparrows, blackbirds and starlings love it. The sparrows particularly like to perch on the sides and dip in.The rooks are very wary of it and are not coming so often, which is good, as I bought it so the smaller birds would have a chance. The jackdaws have got used to it but hey, even jackdaws need to eat!The birds clear it every day and I remove it at night. With the mesh base, it is easy to shake out any residue and clean it. Good purchase.

I used it for feeding birds outdoors. It lasted the 5 months of winter 20/21 and 3 months 21/22. The sides gradually split from the base, until it finally separated completely. Obviously heavier birds will (pigeons/doves) will step on it and perhaps that weakens it? I bought for about £4.5, now £9.99. I will not buy this again at current price

We bough this over a week ago and placed it on the ground a few metres from where we knew our baby Robins were nesting. It has been well used and needs refilling daily. We bought some proper Robin food for it and so far we have only seen Robins using it. It's sturdy, good value for money and has added a whole new enjoyable experience to our garden. I would definitely recommend.

This product is fit for purpose however it is tiny and I don’t think this comes across in the description. So while I should have gone into the detail in the background with hindsight I’ve ended up with something that really is too small for what I needed. The product itself is well made and sturdy so there are no issues there just be aware it is small!
