Solid and sharp
I had pondered for hours on which axe to buy, but knew I had to get something decent. Top of the list was the Friskas which are always great products and a great price. Guess you have to pay for good quality. But I found this axe and immediately liked the shape of the axe head. As an engineer it just made sense to have a broader ridge behind the sharp end to split wood easily. Took a chance on this axe 🪓 and the results have been great. Even my wife has taken a liking to this axe and sits and chops up kindle for the fire. It really splits the wood easily with minimal effort. Have not yet sharpened it as its still new. But from weight balance and chopping ability this axe is bang on great.

Perfect axe
This axe does what it says. Very strong and easy to use. The flat back face is perfect for breaking the wood into small kindling.

Pretty good
About the right weight for the handle, a smallish axe useful for splitting overlarge logs or making kindling. You'd probably need something a bit bigger and heavier if you were starting with trees, but that isn't what it's for.Comes with a handy 'keeper' incorporating a carrying handle.

Great axe, really pleased.
Not much more to say really. Comes in a nice holder which keeps the axe safe when not being used. Nice and sharp and I ripped through a pile of oak logs in no time. Wish I bought it last year rather than struggling on with my old axe!!

Don’t waste your money on a cheap alternative, this axe is the one you need !
We’ve recently had a log burner installed and wanted to reduce the size of some oak logs, contemplated buying a cheap axe from one of the tool places but so glad I opted for this one. It comes with a sharpened edge, a protective head cover that also forms a handle too. The axe is amazing ! Perfect size and weighting for splitting logs, makes short work of reducing oak and ash. Buy this one !

Solid
I wanted a decent small axe for splitting logs for kindling, that had enough weight.I initially wanted the Fiskar but it cost a lot more. This seems a great one-piece design. Clearly nothing to break and it's tactile enough.I didn't bother sharpening it and it still does a good job (but remember sharpening an axe is part of using an axe).Very happy

Good little axe
Used this on Saturday, split logs well. If doing long stints of chopping, I'd suggest getting a long-handled axe though.
