Be careful!!! Extremely super sticky!! (...that's a good thing!)
This tape is smooth, highly reflective and extremely durable. It looks great and works well. Warning...be very, very careful putting it on!! This tape is like epoxy glue!! It sticks like the devil, and it is difficult to remove after 1 minute (which is a good thing if you don't want to change locations). IF you try to remove it, it will be hell (ha ha ha), but seriously, you probably will destroy the tape. It also sticks very well to PU leather (pleather), very strongly.

works like stated but isn't all that great
The tape works as advertised. It has good reflectivity but only if an observer is looking directly along the path of a beam of light. I have tested it out and it is great if I place a flashlight next to my head or squat next to my car's headlights. It is not so great if I am elsewhere, such as sitting in the car. It does retain some reflectiveness in that scenario, which is better than nothing. However, it does not reflect if there are no sources of light somewhat near your line of sight. I bought this for my bicycle because I had seen photos of other people using it on their bikes. The photos were impressive but now I know it's because of the flash on the cameras being near the shutters. My opinion is that for bycicle safety at night, good lights are key. Reflective tape is OK but not completely dependable in situations such as a car with broken headlights, car coming at the wrong angle, ect. It is still somewhat useful on a bicycle, but I wouldn't recommend spending a lot of time making intricate patterns as I did on my spokes and other places. The tape has stuck onto my bike through a couple of drizzles but nothing more serious as I plan my outtings with the forecast in mind. The tape requires occasional cleaning to maintain reflectiveness if especially placed near the bicycle chains. I think this product would be more ideal for stationary objects or large objects that otherwise would have poor visibility at night without this product. I think some examples could be mailboxes or trailers, although I haven't tested it in such a way.

Very reflective, wide tape. Short roll though.
This stuff is a little bit expensive considering how short the roll is. Still, I managed to tape up my bicycle. Not the entire frame mummy-style, but some of the key places at least. Despite the cost (or perhaps because of it) this is about the most reflective adhesive tape you can buy. I got the white tape, which reflects whatever color light hits it. It reflects very bright and is very easy to see when you hit it with a flashlight or headlights. 3M makes some good tape. BEFORE you stick this on, make sure you clean the surface by wiping any dirt, then using a windex-like product or rubbing alcohol or a mild soap (if you use soap make sure you rinse it VERY well). If there is any dirt or grease or soap on the surface, the tape will not stick. If your surface is clean, it will stick. This tape is great on metal, glass, and plastic. It is ok for painted or sealed wood. It is not so great at sticking to bare wood or any wet or dirty surface.

Makes things more visible
I purchased the silver reflective tape to make some things in my driveway and car port a little more visible while parking my vehicle at night. The product does an excellent job of this and even small strips of the reflective tape can be seen from a good distance, depending on how much light is being shined on it (even at oblique angles). As with all other adhesive-type stickers, the reflective tape will adhere really well to smooth hard objects after cleaning the object's surface before applying the tape (I use a product called Goo Gone as I found that it works well for this purpose, even though there are probably other similar products that can be used as effectively. Just remember to always test the cleaner to make sure it doesn't damage the surface - some will actually melt plastic!). I also had no adhesion problems with the tape being wrapped around a very small diameter pole as I had allowed for some of it to overlap so it could also stick to itself. I choose the silver, which actually has more of a "pearl-white" kind of appearance during the day, because I thought it would provide more visibility during lighted times (as opposed to the red colored tape). I put a very simple repetitive pattern of reflective tape on my Uncle's electric wheelchair and I believe it has achieved this.

not as reflective as expected
Short roll. You don't get much for what you're paying for. I paid extra for 3M. Not as reflective as my US-made alternating red/white trailer reflectors. Cheap Chinese copies are even worse. Reflectiveness was disappointing, so I won't buy more.

Not as good as lights but every little bit of effort counts for safety
When you look at my pictures, keep in mind that the lot was too well-lit and the automatic adjustments on the camera don't show how bright the reflection actually is in person. The 1st picture is with the tape. The 2nd picture is without the tape to compare. The 3rd picture shows how the tape looks in normal light. I traced over the Trek branding on the frame, cut it out on the reflective tape, and then taped over the original white lettering. If you look at the third picture, you can't even tell i did this in normal light because the reflective material makes the tape look white just like the original lettering. The tape was easy to work with and allows for a couple of "redo's" in case the alignment isn't perfect. Just make sure to not use full pressure and leave an edge up peel it back off so you can readjust if needed. It took a couple of tries to get the letters lined up and the tape didn't even crease anywhere. Once it's lined up the way you want you can use firm pressure to make it permanent but of course be careful not to create air bubbles. Once you use firm pressure don't even bother to try peeling it back off. I'm not sure how well this will hold up but i was planning to apply protective clear vinyl on the frame anyway to protect the paint from rock chips. For my bike i had a bit more than 3 inches of tape leftover so one roll was enough. I did cut the "T" in 2 parts just to conserve some tape.

Authentic
Seems authentic & reflects ok. Packaging in bubble wrapped but came crumpled. Luckily tape is micro-thin hence still creased but hope its levels after taping. Can report after 2wks crease came off after taping and reflection is superb so up from 3 to stars now.

Please be aware when ordering this that it may be ...
Please be aware when ordering this that it may be coming all the way from the USA and therefore it might take a few weeks to arrive. At £8.99 for 36 inches it ain't cheap either! That works out at 25p per inch! It says apply to clean, smooth surfaces, glass, metal, smooth wood or painted surfaces. It certainly won't stick to fabric or rubber.

Durable even outside of intended use
I bought this to use outside of its intended purpose, and it is holding up quite well! I sewed some strips of it onto a jacket I use when I run outdoors, to increase my visibility, and it's doing the job. The adhesive seems strong enough to apply onto non-fabric, but I haven't tried that yet.
