Its the best!!!
We are SO happy we bought this product. So, so, happy. At first I was conflicted about buying it. We have an Uppababy Vista and a friend had given us a basic, lightweight footmuff for it. As a first time mom, I wasnt totally sure how much we would be outside in the cold anyway so I didn’t register for anything like this. We had one trip where we had planned to be outside for a while and I worried about the cold, so I took the risk and bought this. Now that winter is fully here, we’ve been using it all the time- more than I imagined. Nothing stops us from bundling up and heading outside for festivals, 5ks, exploring the city, walking the dog or whatever other winter activites we can find!! If its very cold I still dress our baby in layers. I never saw this as a bunting replacement like other reviewers had. For me, it ensures cold winds and weather will not penetrate the weather appropriate clothes the baby already has on. If I’m worried, I put an extra blanket in with her. I think an extra blanket makes it more snuggly for her anyway. We’ve taken walks in weather less than 30 degrees and our baby came out of it nice and toasty. No issues. We’ve taken it in the city with the kind of wind that knocks you right in the face and she was still happy and comfortable. The fact that it zips up like a sleeping bag is what makes it easy to throw an extra blanket in if you are worried. Theres no fear of losing blankets because the are zippered in. Wind cannot blow blankets away.If there is any way to imagine this product, its like a winter sleeping bag made for a stroller. The hood is a necessity. It has elastic so it can be tightened around a little head or unzipped and rolled to the sides. People who have had issues with the hood tightening might be because the bag has to be zipped fully for the elastic to have something to pull and tighten against. The way the top blanket unbuttons in the middle under the babys chin is genius- if its cold they are still very bundled but if you want to pull it down away from their face some you still can. The second layer unzips in the same area allowing you to do the same thing. It becomes a little hot pocket :)Overall, its a well thought out product. I recommend it. I never worry about our baby being cold. I do recommend buying the toddler version even if you have a baby still. It seems big at first but they grow so fast... For us, the cost of it is definitely worth the use we will get out of it long term too.

Worth every penny! My new favorite accessory.
I use this every single day. We are a family who lives in the city and we walk every day. I got the larger size for my 8 month old daughter. We've used it on both our Peg Perego stroller as well as our smaller Summer 3D stroller. We can change it from one stroller to another in about a minute. It has been PERFECT. We have tested it through snow, rain, wind, and extreme cold and have been extremely happy. We get compliments on this everywhere we go. It is easy to roll back (it has a strap to keep it in place) when we go inside. I haven't washed it yet but I have spot cleaned the outside with a damp cloth and that took the dirt off. We didn't realize it was dragging during a walk and the fabric help up very well (just dirt, no tears). The first few times we used this we also had her in a coat and she was so sweaty! Now we skip the coat (which makes it easy since we take her coat off to buckle into the carseat anyway). We keep a warm blanket in the stroller basket to transfer her from the stroller to the car if we need it.The hood is nice to have, especially when it's windy or raining, but I don't think it keeps her head very warm so we always have her hat on. I usually flip it over the back of the stroller and it helps keep the cover in place.I was hesitant to spend this much on just a stroller cover but it was worth every penny!

Great for biking with kids!
I guess this could be useful with a stroller, but really this stroller bag's best use is for biking with kids. We use this stroller bag on a Thule Yepp Maxi seat on the back of our cargo bike. I've also seen bicyclists use it with other kid seats (Hamax Caress, among others). It fits perfectly and provides wind and water resistance so we don't have to layer our daughter up more than normal outdoor clothes (plus balaclava or hat under her helmet). She hasn't arrived cold, even on 35F days. In the summer we leave the stroller bag on (without the winter layer) as it provides sun and wind protection and keeps her legs warm in the cooler mornings even though we may have dressed her in shorts. There are a ton of thoughtful details: the winter layer is removable. There are snaps to roll back the cover altogether on warm days without having to remove the whole thing. There's an extra flap of fabric on the top you can use to hook over the top of the seat to keep it from siding down. There's a D ring if you need to clip on something. The bottom zipper unzips in case you want to keep muddy shoes out or strap the kid's feet down (our daughter started developing a habit of trying to take off her shoes while on the back of the bike so we had to do that for a bit...). Skip Hop really should market this as a bike accessory to family bike shops. Highly highly recommend.

Worth the price
I walk my oldest to school every day, including in very cold and windy Chicago weather, and I bought this for my youngest hoping to ditch having to constantly adjust blankets. This was worth every penny. Installation takes only a couple of minutes. I used it mainly on my Joovy Caboose double stroller. You’ll still have to dress your little one warmly. I layered in a shirt, pants, and socks under a fleece footed pajama, a fleece jacket, and a hat and mittens. I know it sounds like the layering defeats the purpose, but trust me, the cold wind would get through that without the added protection of the footmuff. It’s windproof, so my baby was nice and toasty when I took her out. I also love that the padded part just snaps right off when the weather warms up, so she still has wind protection, but not enough to overheat. I never worried about her warmth in this product. It even stayed dry on the inside after a bit of rain. If you’re looking to keep your child warm and dry, this is the footmuff to buy. I recommend to anybody who spends a lot of time outside in the cold with their children.

Nice and Cozy
Nice and warm. Love that there is a double layer that you can remove when it is warmer out. We have the Nuna Stroller and it doesn't really strap well to it and slides when our 10month is in slightly. But overall it is very good purchase.

Sent a previously owned product, but still seems helpful for winter walks
Not worth the hassle of returning but not pleased to have paid full price for a product that has clearly been in someone else’s home...and washing machine...already.The freshness packet was left in the pocket and has now disintegrated in there. Gross. You can see from the tags, this isn’t a brand new product.Found it a little annoying or maybe not a perfect fit attaching this to my uppababy stroller but I think it will do.It seems very warm and makes winter walks a lot easier than bundling up baby and fighting with blankets that are always slipping down. Also like that it has a removable top layer so could still be used for fall and spring as well.

Easy to installs, no blanket needed for cold weather
Easy to install. Sized up so it can grow with infant. Fits graco connect. Though due to size hve to check to wheels since it is longer.Have taken out in -17...with correct clothing and l.o seems toasty..on windy days i place plastic cover too.

Super cozy
It’s cold in Canada so this was a must have. However it was insanely expensive. It is a big ordeal to take on and off in my opinion so I just keep it on. I wish the snack tray on my stroller would fit when this is rolled up on the side.

My daughter (18 months) hates her mittens so it was good to be able to tuck her hands inside for warmth and not worry about whether she is cold or not. Using the foot muff also means i don't have to put her snow pants on for a walk which is great. It easy to use and take on and off when switching strollers. However, i find it a bit bulky for my strollers (i have the Mountain Buggy Nano and the Peg Perego Book Pop Up) as it overhangs. Having said that, it was very useful on our recent trip to London and cold spell in town. The water resistance is quite good as rain beaded off nicely. Also the removable extra layer is nice too.
