Even though its lightweight it is very warm..they advertise for summer but I think it would be better for spring and fall when the heat isn't on.Washes well and is soft. The filling didn't fall apart and clump up after the first wash.I bought two. Gonna get another for guests.

A Cali King size is maybe a King at best. So the draping doesn't even cover the box spring, just the top mattress So booo for that. It's not "fluffy" by any standard. I kept waiting for the "fluff" and even put it in the dryer. No poof. So manage your expectations. It's pretty flat.It does have heft to it and you don't overheat like crazy, so that's a plus. Wrestling it into a duvet took forever.I was really hoping to not have to battle my hubby for covers at night but the battle continues, as does the search for a true California king sizing. So either I learn to sew or manufacturers stop making things smaller every year.The search continues...

I was looking for a down comforter and then I started looking for alternatives because I wanted to be able to wash it and I found this. The reviews definitely convinced me to overlook the hesitation due to the low price and I am so glad they did. I will say that I run cold, so I do not have any issue with the warmth of this comforter and I still need an extra bit of heat sometimes and it is summer right now. Definitely in the winter, it will be perfect for my partner (who is always too hot) and I. I will say that I didn't wash it right away and instead put it in the duvet cover (which I had washed) and slept under it a few nights to make sure it wasn't too hot, as other reviews suggested, but it is great. The price makes it even better.

My mom bought a duvet for me probably 15 years ago. It was soft, fluffy, and lightweight. I loved that thing so much. When it ripped, I'd sew up the hole. When it was lightly toasted by a baseboard heater, I shrugged and kept using it. I tried a couple of times to replace it, but nothing was ever quite as soft or fluffy. Finally, at 25, I upgraded from a full-sized mattress to a queen. I had to retire my favorite duvet.I literally spent more time looking for a comfortable duvet than I did a mattress. I poured over countless reviews of duvets before I came across this one. I thought, even with a smaller than average number of reviews, how is it possible this duvet has NO one-star reviews?! So I bought it.Hopefully this review can save you some of the man-hours I put into looking for a duvet - yes, the ratings are well-earned. The duvet itself is a bit thinner than I was hopping for, but you can fluff it up pretty easily. I have a duvet cover for mine but the duvet is softer than the cover. It is so gosh dang soft and lightweight and comfortable I want to walk around the house wearing it like a cape.I've only had it for a month - I can't speak to its longevity or how warm it will be in winter, but based on how much I and my cats love snuggling up in it, I think it will be fine. There have been no signs of wear and tear so far. And to be honest, if it somehow only lasted 1 year I'd probably buy the same exact thing. I've spent $90 on a single oversized duvet and been sorely disappointed. This duvet is better and it's less than half the price. I've been chasing the high of my childhood duvet for years and I finally found something that makes me feel cozy like a kid again.10/10, would buy again

This is the first duvet I've ever owned. I did a lot of research before purchasing because I wanted something fluffy and affordable. This was the perfect one in the middle! I am absolutely in love and never want to go back to a normal comforter. I am a changed woman, living the duvet lifestyle. It's thick but not like overwhelmingly thick. It's not super feathery, but it has a certain umph to it that I didnt realize I would love. I've literally never been more comfy in bed than I have been the past year or so I've owned this. Would buy again.

This is a great lightweight duvet that keeps us warm. We live in Alberta Canada and this duvet works great.
