They do the job
The media could not be loaded. We have well over 30 guitars, and they all live outside their cases on stands and in racks. In the last couple months some of the acoustics had begun to get a touch too dry, and since there are around 12 of them, I didn't want to pay for the name brand, in case they made no difference being outside the cases. So I bought a bunch of these, and they are working well enough. I re-wet them once a week, and put them between the strings per normal. They are just plastic with some floral foam, but are made fairly well. I don't bother trying to refill through the hole, I just take them out and dip them in a cup of distilled water for a second, dry them off and back in they go.It's almost humidity season in Ohio, so I probably won't need to use them for a while, but I'm confident they will still work just fine next winter.

NICE!
If you are starting to have sprouting frets put one of these in your case for a few days. They work great!.

Cheap and works!!!!
Based on low rating reviews, not sure what some are expecting or how long they used the product. I can say is it’s cheap and does the job. The sponge does not drip water. I let it soak and then let excess water drip out before using it. It’s easy to over or under humidify instruments, so just make sure you own a hygrometer in conjunction with these types of humidifier. Don’t be one of those ignorant users who misuse the product and gives it a bad review instantly.

Why pay more?
I live in Ohio and that means dry house in the winter. I mostly keep my guitars in their cases with these humidifiers.I have one I bought a few years ago that cost more than this 4-pack, and these work just as well. Why pay more?

Limited value; very basic model.
The tops of these cannot be removed, so you can never replace the sponge, and it is hard to wet it but not over wet it. There are better choices out there.

Easy To Use. But Don't Over-fill
My set of four arrived without instructions. I thought they might be like the D'Addario model, which is ver similar. But they don't have a removable top. Instead, one just sees the water-drop icon with the "In" arrove pointing to the fill hole. The rest is intuitive.I use distilled water, as I don't want mineral buildup on my humidifiers or guitars. My advice is to fill and then let drain, as one can overfill them! Let the excess run off, dry off the exterior and then insert into guitar. This is the least expensive way of protecting one's (acoustic, primarily) guitars from cracking, warping and "fret sprout" as the result of too much dryness.

awesome
Use these in all my guitar cases as well as my mandolin. Along with a humidity gauge these work great, and the price is very reasonable.
