I bought this hat for my 8 month old son in Size 6-18 Months, and it fits him (and his slightly larger than average head) well, with room to grow. The chin strap is essential to keep it from flying off on windy days. The brim is floppy and provides a lot of shade, but you will likely have to flip it up on a smaller baby so they can see. My son has worn it in his Baby Bjorn and it was great for that, though I did keep having to adjust the brim every so often when it flopped back down. Still, it's one of the better baby hats I've found and the royal blue color is nice. I thought the color might be a little too bright or purple-y tinged, but it's actually very flattering on boys. The fabric is lightweight but seems very protective, especially with the UPF. This is a great hat for a reasonable price. We'll definitely be keeping this in the diaper bag for outings this summer!

We just used this hat for a weekend at the beach with our 5 and a half month old son, and it was great. It completely shaded his face and shoulders from the sun. It occasionally blew back in the sea breeze (my hat was too), but the tie kept it on the whole time. At first he wasn't too thrilled with having it tied under his chin and kept tugging at the ties, but once I moved the bow to the side at his jaw/under ear, he left it alone completely. I'm thinking about adding some small sew-on snaps to the ties since getting my son to sit still to tie it on is a little bit of a challenge. I was unsure about the size to order, but took a chance on the 6 to 18 month size since my son's head is in the 75th percentile for his age. With the adjustable part drawn as small as it will go, the hat fits perfect. It's very soft and easy to stuff just about anywhere to take with you. As far as the complaints about the placement of the toggle adjustment right at the back of the head, if your infant will be laying back quite a lot, then this is probably a valid concern; however, our son always wants to be up and looking around, so the toggle placement is not a problem.

This hat is great! We had my son wear it primarily when he was in the pool. He was still too young this summer to wear sun screen so any time we were outside he had to be covered up. We wet the hat and then put it on him which kept his head cool and the sun out of his eyes. I love the pull string feature because he can wear it for longer then other hats that are made to be a specific size. I will probably purchase another one when he outgrows this one for next summer.One small thing is I did not use the straps all that much. It is difficult enough to get a hat on an infant, let alone tie the straps under his chin. The hat was tight enough on his head with the pull string that I didn't bother with chin ties.

The had really does do what it is intended to do. The fabric is high quality and the fit is adjustable which is great. The problem is that the brim is super floppy and it gets in his eyes. My son hates it. He tries to pull it off his head all the time, and we ended up buying a hat with a firmer brim that he likes much better.

I ordered this hat for my son for a trip to the beach when he was 10 weeks old, as well as just for outdoor use. He was born June 25, so I needed something he could use during the summer. I was intrigued by the adjustable size, especially since my baby was so tiny. At birth, his head circumference was 13 cm, which is in the 10th percentile, so on the small side. I figured it wouldn't fit him when he was that small, but at 2.5 months it still could not be adjusted to his size. Consequently, it did not get any summer use. We'll see it fits next year or pass it on to someone else. Great concept though.

I knew I feel in love with this hat for my nephews first birthday.. it’s 50 SPF.. including the under the chin ties to keep the hat from falling off. My nephew on the other hand feel in love with it more than me.. he wears it everywhere he goes.. looks like I’ll be buying a Winter hat from this company.. 😅

I love the way this hat looks on my baby boy! He is 7 months and the 6-18 month size fits well with the drawstring in the back. He's never laying down when he wears it so I don't have to worry about it being uncomfortable. It covers his shoulders very well and I love that the ties are not velcro so they are not itchy or scratchy on his face. Only small drawback is that the hat can be a bit floppy. I wish there was some way to reinforce the brim to stay when you fold it upwards, however, it is still a nice product and I will probably buy one again whenver the next baby comes along.

This brand seemed like the go to for baby hats, but it's wasn't for us. We tried it when he was in his pool float, and it just would stay on his head right (and he was just chilling in his float, very little movement). We kept having to fiddle with it and it would just flop down in his face. It's supposed to be adjustable, but it's tough to adjust and I felt like I was going to break it if I pulled too hard. I gave up and bought another sun hat that we like much better.

The head portion fits well enough but the adjuster at the back is too flimsy and would loosen on its own. The hat brim is also too flimsy, so it obstructs my baby’s view resulting in him yanking it off. However he looks adorable in it. if there’s no wind blowing and he’s not moving and trying to pull it off it a good buy. He normally doesn’t mind wearing hats or have anything on his head. I would get the style with smaller brim next time.

So I find that, for some reason, the baby girl sun hats focus more on the appearance than the actual sun protection. So I was so glad when I found this hat. It provided great sun coverage for my newborn (who can’t wear sunscreen yet!). It made me feel reassured that her face was protected from sun rays. The quality is awesome. The adjustable drawstring provides flexibility and duration in use. Would definitely buy again.

Venía un poco grande, una cosa de nada.Lo usó mi bebé de 5 meses en Los Cabos, BCS, y le iba muy bien para proteger del sol. Realmente protege del sol, un sol de Junio en el Pacífico.Se ajusta muy bien a la cabeza, cuello y es super suavecito, además liviano especial para un bebé.

Es un gorro que cumple su función. El único inconveniente es que se baja, no es duro y por el movimiento se baja y les llega a estorbar o tapar los ojos.
