beyerdynamic MMX 102 iE in-Ear Headphones Black/Silver

Ok they are a bit flimsy and do break more easily than others but they are (IMHO) the best sounding in ears I have tried. Had many of the previous versions and this one matches pretty well. Tried so many other brands and still coming back to those for my tablet and phone. We use a lot of there over ears in the studio as well.

High output volume. Use with a USB-C to 3.5mm female headphone jack adapter to plug into the USB-C connector on an Android phone and these are great for conversations without having to hold the phone against your ear.

I have never had an issue with beyerdynamic products and the MMX 102s are no exception. Great sound quality and some of the comfiest earbuds I've owned. The built in microphone works wonderfully for phone or video conference calls. I would have liked volume control on the cord. There is one button that pauses music, so that is nice. Overall, i recommend these

Durable and accurate

Horrible sound. I am surprised, as I saw so many positive reviews.I spent almost a day adjusting EQ to make it acceptable.So far, the bass was heavy, pumping and muttering.But that's not the worst (it could be acceptable for fans of heavy bass). The mids are disgusting. For example, I had to turn the 1K line almost all the way down.The highs are almost ok, but I had to increase it a bit to make the sound clear.Regardless of all the actions, I still hear that the sound is not perfect and feels a bit "round". The sound scene is very compact, it's like a tiny room where all the action happens.In addition, the remote control button is very hard to press, so sometimes fingers erroneously perform extra pressings.The cable does not seem sturdy enough and I expect it to break soon (especially near the jack - classic).Will never buy it again. Disappointment worth $80

First off lets state, I love the sound quality for the price and the compact size for wearing under my motorcycle helmet.But sadly the quality control is very much lacking, my pair came what looked like a dirty plug, and with a visible defect on the plug (specifically the microphone contact), the gold plating looked generally worn (or perhaps just spread a little too thin) in hindsight this should have be a warning sign of things to come.First few times making a call my friends complained they couldn't hear me, I had a new phone at the time so I was worried it was that. I confirmed with my laptop, and another phone that it was the headphones, rotating and moving the plug would fix the issue but induce a lot of crackle (confirmed with recording), Later this week the right ear had volume issues, and I had crackle in my left ear, which seems to be gone, again moving the "plug" end of the cable would induce the crackle or fix the volume issues.

I owned many headphones in the 20-120 range. X10, MA750, triple driver, and other. These stand out with their dynamic range( ability to hear soft sound alongside loud sound) and big soundstage(best I've heard so far). They have a good overall balance of bass and treble for wide range of genres(trance,pop,classical). Very satisfied with comfort, fit, sound and price. Will be looking to purchase more Beyerdynamics products in future.

These are wonderful ear buds. They are really small and light and so very easy to achieve a comfortable fit - I can use them for hours without fatigue. Sound is great - not quite a neutral as I usually go for but the extra bass doesn't take away from the precision of the mids and treble. Altogether a very pleasant listening experience and, with a good price, very, very easy to recommend.
