1/4" (6mm) Cork Heel Lift, 10 Pack, Small (2" Wide)

Very disappointed. I expected the same cork lifts I buy from the podiatrist. Cork is cork, so why wouldn't I expect the same? I don't think these are real cork. They do not look or feel like cork at all. They are very stiff and smell of chemicals. They do not lie flat. I have sent a return request as they were not cheap to buy, although they have a cheap feel to them. I would rather pay full price at the doctor's office for the real thing. The same product from the same company for a single item is described as "cork and rubber blend." What is the actual composition of these heel lifts?
