Really nice sheer curtains! Only gave 4 stars because one set of panel that I bought is not 108 inches long.

Caveat: As so often happens, I bought these panels for something other than a window. I purchased these curtains on two separate occasions within a 1 month period. At first, I got one set (two) of the yellow sheers. The intended use was to enclose a 7-foot, open kitchen closet. I don't like having pots, appliances, and packaged foods sitting out in the kitchen because they get dusty and greasy. My covering needed to be machine washable so I could easily remove whatever the covering had filtered out of the air. The kitchen is in a north-facing room that doesn't get much light even when the sun shines. I decided on bright yellow sheers to make the room seem brighter while filtering dust and grease. While one set of sheers was enough to cover the closet with a little ruffling, the material was too sheer to be considered bright yellow. Since there is no window in the back of the closet, the closet is even darker than the kitchen. The two panels had a hard time overcoming all that multi-colored darkness. Basically they just provided a dull yellow haze over all the stuff in the closet. One option would have been to get curtains in a thicker yellow material, but that would entail heavier curtains that would not be as easy to wash. I bunched my two panels together to see how many panels I would need to give me the brightness I wanted. The magic number was six--I don't believe I could fit more on the rod, actually. So I bought two more sets of yellow panels. The bonus is that I get more of the ruffling effect above the rod, much of which had been lost due to the length of the closet. I am using a standard tension shower curtain rod to hang the panels. The rod just barely fits, snugly, through the sewn-in loop. I wish that the loop were a little wider for easier removal and re-hanging, since I intend to wash them But, as I said at the beginning, I'm using them for a non-standard purpose, so it's not surprising that they fit non-standardly over the shower curtain rod. I might install an ordinary curtain rod above the closet opening to solve that problem. If I were to use the curtains over a bright window in a room painted white, they would look bright yellow. In any other location and any other paint color, more than two panels are needed to get a room-brightening effect.

I read a few reviews about these being made of cheap fabric ? Let me clarify what sheer Draperies are: they are sheer. They have a loose weave. They are soft and have almost no body to them. I am a professional drapery fabricator and designer and I’ll tell you the secret to making them look really good: measure the width you intend to cover. Multiply it by four. Take that number and divide it by the described number of the panel width. When you put them up, scrunch them together at the top. This is how you get your fullness and then they won’t look cheap. This is how we do it in homes we design and decorate. You may ask why I didn’t make them if I am a pro? Great question: I can’t beat the price for my personal home office. I bought the longer ones so that I wouldn’t have to deal with any possible uneven panels. They puddle at the bottom and that makes them look even more luxurious. These were soft, plain, white sheers. I bought the minimum 3 times the width of what I needed because of the number of windows to cover. I will be switching to 4 when I order the next round. Honestly, this fabric would cost over $20 per yard at this width. You’re getting it at the lowest imaginable price and the Draperies are already made. If you want custom, order custom. I didn’t. I bought ready-made for the office and I don’t regret it. I’m too busy to make my own. Why bother? These were more than I expected. Update on Feb 17, 2018: purchased another four sets for more windows. Still love them. I love the puddling at the bottom. I told a few friends about them and directed them to order if they wanted to along with how many to make them look full like mine. I don’t know if they will but it’s an option. Still not disappointed! It’s the easy way out for a lower budget or get-it-Done-fast project! Unbeatable!

I bought these sheers for my sons place to go behind drapes on a double rod. They are pretty, and allow a little privacy when drapes are open. His window was 70.5” wide so I had three sheers on each side (6 total) which made them look full. They are sheer enough he can see his backyard which was the look we were going for. For the money, I think these are perfect for his needs. I appreciated the fact that our 6 panels were all the same length as sometimes with pre-made (vs custom) you run into the problem of the lengths being off an inch or so. We put the sheers directly on the back rod and the drapes on rings. I think we put them upside down, when we put them up correctly (what we think was correctly) there was a header at the top of the sheer and I didn’t want a header because then they’d be higher than the drapery top. By putting them upside down the sheer just covered the rod pole and fell nicely. We did not have to do anything to the sheers by choosing this method, there’s enough hem on top & bottom to hang with header or not. The sheers finished the look we were going for, very nice.

These are the 54" x 96" long gold color curtains. I assumed the material would be like a chiffon polyester, however, the material is like raw silk, gorgeous. I ordered four panels only because I didn't buy them to cover the windows but only for an accent. This is a second floor room with blinds so privacy was not an issue. They are sheer (see through) which is what a sheer is. If you want privacy or black out these won't do. I hung them one foot above the window and to the floor of a 9' ceiling about a foot from the top as you can see in the picture. For impact and to cover the window buy multiple panels. These curtains changed the room completely and I'm thinking of doing all the windows in this room now. One panel was a smidge shorter which was unnoticeable. I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy more.

stitching looks cheap and horrible. threads in fabric pull and group together after barely touching the curtains and it is almost impossible to fix
