While it worked the video both day and night was pretty good. The camera failed the first time the outside temperature was above 72 degrees F. It was mounted to the inside rear view mirror and not directly in the sun light. I would not recommend this camera for that reason.

Quick and easy to setup. Instructions are so-so but cam is intuitive. Image quality is great for just recording the drive around town. For using with other 1080p recorders and video editing, quality is medium to good while driving straight. No problem inserting a few seconds here and there. 720 is 30 fps, 1080 is 24 fps. Can be a bit jerky around corners. Size is not obtrusive. Unit is easy to remove from holder. Would recommend.

The little instruction quick start is the important piece of paper that will make this work. The regular instruction sheet tells you how to get around in the menu, but not what anything does. The picture quality is good. Unfortunately there is a limit as to what size of memory card this will handle. The suction doesn't like to hold in a warm car. I'm trying to figure out what to do about that, because when summer comes along its a lost cause. This has to have power to work, a suggestion here. Have a power supply, like you'd use to recharge your phone, along in your car... with an appropriate usb cable. That way, if you're involved or a witness to an accident, you can pull the camera out of the car, attach it to the portable power supply and take pictures. On that note, travel with 2 memory cards. If you have something important on one, you can take it out and save it and pop the other one in.

bought it for our trip in February. Did not last for even 4 hours, does not work at all. Now I am told its to late to return it, past the 30 days, Just returned home froM our vacation.

Bought this product for my mother and it really has worked out great for her. She was involved in a accident and she had her dash cam on and was able to prove she was not at fault. If she hadn't had it she would been the one at fault by the law. So I do recommend this product to anyone. As a matter of fact I'm fixing to buy another for myself.

Doesn't work, get card error, using 32 gig card. Worked first day going to work, coming home got error message. Work little while next day going to work then quit after stopping to get gas, same error code.

so far so good ,it came with 16 gb mini sd card ,looks a little better then my previous one

I was very impressed with this dashcam. When I first pulled it out of the box, the first thing I checked was the durability of the suction cup that holds the camera in place. It is great. I've used it now for almost 1 month and everything is still excellent. The clarity and quality of the video and audio is beyond my expectations! I love the fact that it has a zoom feature. The still shot photo feature is nice to have as well. The appearance is very nice. The display screen is a great size while still remaining slim and not at all distracting under my rearview mirror!I hope to be using this dashcam for a good while! I absolutely love it!!
