The way this is built means you cannot use it to lift or stir anything with any weight. The handle is in two parts, each with a reinforced core, but joined by a flimsy bit of plastic that means it bends and felt broken as soon as I started using it.After persisting for a short while, I've now given up. It couldn't cope with a stirfry, some boiled potatoes, cooked beans, nor a pan of vegetables.Disappointing that Kitchencraft chose to redesign their utensils which I've found to be much more robust in the past.Waste of money.

Perfect with non-scratch saucepans. Nothing else to add.
