The battery I received was nearly 100% charged so I know its freshly fabricated. Torque driver was included, pry tool and so was a 2d sided adhesive tape. Follow the youtube video and you'll be okay on the replacement procedure.Do mind that the torque driver tip is soft so always put enough pressure to turn the screws when removing. If you don't do this you will strip either the screw or the tool.I also did not have to use a heat/hair dryer for the battery pull. Just pry it out by patiently going around the sides with the pry tool.Last, battery kit was expensive but I guess it's fine considering the tools included and the lack of battery suppliers for my model of GPS.I'll monitor how long this battery will retain its power.Update:In less than a month, this battery went through a massive drain while unused. Granted a small drain occurs with a soft-power GPS this is unacceptable for a battery. Still under observation...

Worked great. Saved me buying a new Garmin GPS. Installed new battery and down loaded map updates…good as new!

This battery is an easy fix for a GPS that keeps saying "the battery is low" every time I turn off the car. It turns itself off after ten seconds and didn't have enough power for that long.It is a direct replacement, fits right in. Works great now. The listed mAh are more than the original battery. I didn't use it not plugged in so I can't tell how much more the battery lasts.The only problems I had were:The DVD instructions that came with it were for the wrong device. I had seen the correct video online before I bought it so I could tell what the differences were.And it was not really clear how to disconnect the battery power clip from the circuit board. So I lifted straight up away from the board and it disconnected.

Great replacement. Easy to install. You need a very small screw driver to accomplish the install. Tool provided was useless.

The wire harness adapter on the battery is not compatible to the one on the GPS machine. Do not try this. It broke the pins on my machine (my is ruined)

This product was slightly more expensive than other options. I chose this one because I only wanted to take the time to replace the battery only once and the other reviews suggested this product would work! The only tricky part was correctly removing the connecting wire and replacing with the new connecting wire. The back of the Garmin came off very easily. A review of the only videos that show the battery replacement were well worth the time spent!

came 3/4 charged . writing was on opposite side of original , figured it out works well . had to use a magnifing glass to see the connector . the screwdriver strips out easily , make sure you have it fully inserted .
