Works great. Good finish
Wall mounted inside my office closet. Works great. Good finish. Only complaint is it came with 12 cage nuts/bolts which required me to purchase more.Holding a: NavePoint Cantilever Server Shelf Vented Shelves Rack Mount 19" 1U Black 10" (250mm) deep Cable Matters Rackmount or Wallmount 24-Port Cat6 RJ45 Patch Panel Fencher 1U 19 Inch Rack Mount Horizontal Cable management with mounting screws 24 slot Cable Manager Finger Duct with Cover Ubiquiti UniFi Switch - 24 Ports Managed (US-24-250W) Odyssey APB01 1 Space Blank Rack Panel Accessory CyberPower OR700LCDRM1U Smart App LCD UPS 700VA 400W SNMP/HTTP Rackmount

Not too bad for a cheap network rack
Not too bad for a cheap network rack. The holes on mine perfectly lined up for 16 inch studs so no modifications had to be made. The only thing I did was unscrew and remove the bar on the top as it got in the way of me mounting my rack shelf for my routers and modems. I understand it's designed to help brace the rack, but once you have switches and power supplies mounted in, the rack is not going to flex and bend. For a small office/home install, this should be a satisfactory purchase.

Great priced network rack
I purchased the 6U version to replace a 4U version from the same company that I had outgrown. This 6U model has similar features of being easily wall mountable, securely holding a Unifi USG, Cloud Key Gen2 Rack Mount accessory with Cloud Key, Unifi 24 port non POE switch, 24 port patch panel and vented shelf for a Unifi 8port POE switch. The rack feels solid with no side to side movement. Note I left the cross support structure on the rack but once items are mounted in the rack I would expect it would have been solid with out the cross support. I was able to move the cross support to the bottom of the rack (rack has threaded mounting holes for the cross support on the top and the bottom) and faced the cross support so it extended away from the inside of the rack to allow the bottom device to insert into the rack. This model of network rack is very reasonably priced and a good value for the spend for a home network.

Great 1st Rack Unit for Newbie Rack Effects Users
I bought this rack unit because I've started to get some new gear for my personal music/recording studio. I currently have an Avid Eleven Rack and a BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer as rack-mount effects.Let me say this unit is a beast and sturdy as a tank. As shown in the pics, it holds my rack FX perfectly with three additional spaces leftover (the 11 Rack uses 2 spaces all by itself) and still has plenty of room to hold my old Mac Mini and my Behringer audio interface (U-Phoria UMC204HD). The top is open, but I found a perfectly sized spare shelf I had to place my HD monitor on top of the whole setup. The rack unit comes with the stabilizer bar already assembled and everything ready to go. In the fairly large box it came in I received the rack unit, a one-page instruction manual in a plastic binder sleeve, and all the necessary accessories bubble-wrapped and zip-tied to the unit itself. Everything I needed, in other words—with plenty of space for cord management and airflow in the back of the unit.Included are enough rack screws, clip nuts, and washers to install 3 or 4 rack-mount effects. It would be nice if they also included enough for the rest of the unit's shelf space (6 rack FX in all), but it's definitely not a deal-breaker and not worth the removal of a star rating. If you're looking to get into rack-mounted FX for yourself, give this bad boy a try. You won't regret it.

Plan on buying replacement hardware.
I love almost everything about this rack. Not too big, not too small, feels sturdy, looks good. Using this for a home network with LAN drops in every room. The open design worked well for my purposes. My biggest issue was the mounting itself. First on that, it does come with M5 (not M6 as described) cage nuts and bolts. I was mounting this to some open studs by myself which is always a little awkward. Anyhow, the provided wood screws’ heads were exactly the same size as the holes in the back of the rack. This means that you can’t screw in the wood screws and place the rack over them and slide it in to place. You would HAVE to have someone else hold it in place while you screwed it in. I also managed to strip 3 out of the 6 provided so I went out a bought #10 x 1-1/2in screws to replace the originals. They worked perfectly. I was able to slide the rack right over the top of them which made the mounting take all but 10 minutes with 9/64 pilot holes. After it was mounted, everything is perfect and beautiful.Pros: Cost, value, aesthetics, size, prime delivery, relatively light weight, sturdy.Cons: Hardware (both M5 cage nuts which should have been M6 as well as the awful wood screws)

StarTech 8U Wall Mount
So far I am really pleased with this patch panel. The looks are pretty good. It is a nice black and the paint quality seems like it'll be free from chips and easy to clean. The installation was really easy. The included instructions have a drill template which lined up perfectly with the wall studs. I was left feeling confident this patch panel was not going to fall off the wall.I'm really glad I went with the 8U panel. It was not that much more and it allowed more breathing room for my equipment. One feature I wish this panel had was something to allow for cable management. Perhaps some mounting options to hide long cords and such.I paired this panel with a StarTech 1U vented shelf. I like the resulting look and functionality. I with StarTech made a 2U shelf that was the appropriate depth. Their existing 2U shelf is too deep for this panel.Overall I am very pleased with this panel. I would definitely purchase again.

Worth thr investment sturdy construction.
This is a well made 6U Svr Rack ideal to upgrade or expand your network at home or in your business. Sturdy construction made out of steel and easy to install. I would recommend if you have one using an impact driver to screw the screws in but slowly. You want thr rack to be surface.

Good rack for a home network
Great rack for a small home network. The mounting holes are 16 inches apart to align with the spacing of studs - which is a nice touch.I mounted mine on a piece of plywood, added a small shelf at the bottom to hide the wires and put it near the ceiling.

Great open rack
Really nicely made. Could maybe do with some more mounting holes for soft walls (only has four), but no complaints
