Amazing start to a new series
Chaotic is a gripping and suck-you-under start to a new series. Once I started reading, I had to finish and learn more about Charisma, the guys she finds herself dealing with, and all the moving pieces in her world. Thereās just the right blend of humor, action, drama, and some steamy moments.I really liked that Charisma is smart, awkward, and has a vulnerability to her while still having a confidence in her abilities when it comes to certain areas of her life (like creating tech). She was very relatable to me. She may have been shunned by her birth family, but sheās a fighter and Iām really interested to see how she may develop going forward while still being herself. The guys that find themselves interacting with Charisma are intriguing. We get more info on some than others and despite their differences, each one has an interest in her. I enjoyed that the guys are familiar with each other given who they are but theyāre not besties or an already formed unit. In fact, they each have good reasons not to trust the others which should make for some interesting relationship building down the road. Most of Chaotic is setting the stage but major events do take place. The book does end on a big cliffhanger and Iām excited to see whatās in store for Charisma and the guys next.

So good! Brought a smile to my face and total enjoyment from the first to the last page
Beware the cliffhanger for those who just can't tolerate them, but other than that a great read you don't want to miss out on.This was a new author for me one I'd never heard of before and somehow missed reading the first book when it released even though I just found it in my book wish list on Amazon. The only good thing about that is I don't have to wait long for book two now, I'm only about10 days from reading book two so sorry for the short review but I'm already dreaming about what's next. šReading this and still on the fence? Just stop and go read it you won't regret it and if your anything like me well you'll be putting this author on your to watch for list.I just want to quickly address the few 1 star reviews I read. I'm all for everyone having a different opinion but the few grammar errors didn't make it close to unreadable and as far as the tripping and the spacing out I didn't feel like it was so overdone or over the top. Obviously people have different limits but if your afraid to read it because if that just know I can't stand tstl h's or ones that are supposed to be smart but are totally oblivious this isn't like that at all.And it is obviously more prevalent in the beginning when setting up the character and history, then just a normal level but then again I'm clumsy and crazy things happen to me all the time. My entire extended family at any get togethers like to share any new funny stories about me which inevitably leads to them pulling out the their favorites. It's been happening since I was a kid so luckily I grew up able to smile or laugh at myself which really helps.šAs for the spacing out? Again more prevalent in the beginning and I've had a couple if people in my life like that both for different reasons but both of their brains worked so fast and something would send them off but both super smart one a creative genius while the other was just plain genius.Again it was part of her but I didn't find it was so often you couldn't read it, she was totally able to concentrate and get things done and hold conversations. So don't let the one stars scare you away give it a chance if its a hot button for you then yes it might grate on you.Me? I found it quirky and cute as it didn't impede the story and if everyone was the same the world would be a boring place and reading the same types of h's is repetitive and can burn you out.So you go author! Make them different and unique please!

Good
**WARNING! CLIFFHANGER**Ok this is a HUMONGOUS cliffhanger, so you might want to either line the next book up to read, or avoid the final chapter until youāre ready to read the following one!Charisma is a mage from one of the powerful mage families, although they cast her out some time ago because she didnāt have much power.Having graduated with her magical engineering degree, she is all set to work with magical tech, only she keeps running into the attractive heirs of the first familiesā¦This is a reverse harem, but mostly slow burn since only one male mc actually gets to see any romance with the heroine. The world is a fascinating one, and the magical technology makes it quite unique. The main characters are interesting, and the ārebelā faction theyāre dealing with provides a nebulous antagonist about which we know very little, even by the end of the book, but whose actions so far are bad.An enjoyable and entertaining read for urban fantasy fans.

Mad men in a blue box.... Take me away
So I am just reading along, laughing at the hijinks that is Charisma, loving all the nerdy references to Doctor Who and Pokemon when the worse thing ever happens.... That's right folks. The. BOOK. JUST. FREAKING. ENDS. SO... I think I'm still suffering from increased BP at the moment. Seriously Epic ending that I was not prepared for... AT ALL.But let's rewind and talk about all the amazingness that is this book. It's very comical, the concept and premice of the book are unique and Charisma is so likeable and relatable. She was cast out when her magic was revealed to be too weak for her high profile family. However, it was the best thing to happen to Char because it gave her freedom. She owns who she is. She is brilliant and carefree. When she graduates, the other families she had been avoiding suddenly begin popping into her life. I'm not much of a fan of Logan yet, mostly because he is very pompous. Bast is a mystery and I had a feeling when they met who he was going to be. Theo we don't learn too much about yet. Andres is still pretty unknown as well. Blaze is my favorite, a bit unfairly perhaps as he is featured the most, but who doesn't love the tattoo rebel with a heart. šMultiple POVs. Med steam. Major cliffy. Great story and characters.

From the very first chapter I was hooked!! And just so I couldnāt stop the story when I had to go to work I got it on Audible so I can pick up where I left off and listened in my car! I LOVE IT! Charisma is a nerdy, quirky, clumsy bad arse chick!! That cliffhanger left me reeling!! Time to jump into boom 2 ASAP!

Incredible
Okay, Charisma is a terrible name, but the character is just amazing! She obviously has ADHD and is so clumsy I feel better with myself. Those are traits that make her pretty real. She's funny, smart and contrary to all the other fantasy heroines I've read about, doesn't have a lot of magic power, which is just awesome. As an engineer, she compensates the lack of power with lots of useful technology, and that is what makes her so valuable. I'm not convinced on the whole harem plot yet. In this book, she only has a thing with Blaze and that's it. Besides flirting and expressing her attraction and feelings (which is super cool btw because the plot has a foundation), there's not much regarding their involvement. Between Theo, Logan, Andres, Bast and Blaze, Logan is my least fav because he's just so rude and full of himself it makes me sick, and Bast is definitely my favorite because he's literally Char's other half. Loved the book and I'm super excited to read the next one.

Ooh, cliffhanger ending.
So, this was good. I love the world building, well explained. Loved the FMC!! Don't see much of a nerdy female character and she owns it! She is smart as hell, funny and so damn clumsy š but its adorable too. Oh, that twist at the end. I had my suspicions after seeing that POV. But, damn...wonder what's going to happen now.
