Coloring Book Jan Vermeer (Coloring Books)

So glad to find a Vermeer coloring book, but wish there were more to color instead of the large blank spaces. Good if you wanted to draw, but I didn't. Great for kids!

Not much to color in this book, very simplistic drawings which are incomplete and do not look like any of Vermeer's paintings. Girl with Pearl Earring is not even in book to color-have to draw it from scratch. Vermeer is my favorite artist so I had high hopes for this book, not worth the price at all. ONLY good thing it's printed on good quality paper.

I bought this book for an Art loving family member for this Christmas. So I really can't say anything else. I did not buy this for myself.

The book is a coloring/painting book with pictures to help inspire the reader to be creative by providing part of paintings by the artist, Jan Vermeer.Other kids will enjoy the book because you get to learn about Jan Vermeer and see actual paintings that the artist created. For kids who like to draw, the book is good because it provides the start of a picture and the reader gets to make the rest of the picture.What’s interesting about the book is that it has many pictures of paintings from hundreds of years ago showing what people and towns looked like. The back of the book also has a special page that shows many of Jan’s completed works.
