Well packaged and arrived before estimated delivery date. Used this connector kit to install a 1,0000 watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter in my new Toyota Sienna XLE van with Wheelchair Accessible conversion. The inverter needed to be mounted under the driver's seat to limit the cable run length. This quick disconnect was required to enable the easy removal of the seat so that my power-chair could be used as the driver's seat. It's design made installation a breeze, allowing for soldering the #2AWG cable for a clean, strong and zero-resistance connection. Had a bit of consternation upon initial inspection of the plugs as there was no obvious male/female plug. A quick review of the Amazon photos revealed that the plugs are designed so that when one is flipped 180deg, they slide into each other. Pure genius!! Just be certain when soldering the cable ends that you allow for this flip so that the positive input cable is not accidentally connected to the negative output cable. Do NOT recommend crimping. Great product and I highly recommend it.

I purchased these to create a quick disconnect for my inverter to hook up to my truck battery. I used #2 gauge cable to make short cables from the battery. Then a longer set for the inverter. Very quick to connect inverter if I need AC current in a pinch. These are very heavy duty and have done a great job for my needs!

The contacts on this connector are serious... I was altogether unsuccessful crimping the 2AWG wire with a leveraged crimper made for up to 0000 gage connections. The wall thickness of the contact is just too thick to crush. You will have to crimp with one of the inexpensive “hammer shut” crimpers but you will not be disappointed in the result. The housing is made of a thick and robust engineered plastic. The housing has two strong spring steel retainers that serve dual purposes... they hold the contacts in place and press the mating contacts tightly together for an excellent very low resistance connection.

I am pleased with this product. It is heavy duty and just as advertised. I installed them on a older two battery tractor and work very good. I hope in the future I can order just the pins inside the plastic if they corrode over time. I did not feel qualified to rate durability for I have had them install for only one week so far.

High quality quick disconnect kit. I have been using these for 10 years. I use them on my outboard boat motor that I take on and off the boat with ease.

I haven’t used these yet, but their smaller connectors I have used recently work well and are dependable. I use these for connecting batteries together for my emergency lighting and the batteries I use are out of vehicles I drive in the summer only up here in the subarctic

Not much to add here. Just be sure you have the proper wire size for the terminals you order lol. My cables were a little too small for the terminals I ordered and I had to do some fancy crimping. Worked out ok though. Lesson learned! These connectors connect easily and tightly - with no apparent danger of them becoming jostled loose. Yet they're fairly easy to disconnect. I highly recommend these for my purpose, which was having a battery connection at the back of my truck for my hitch attachable winch to plug into when i need it.

They plug straight into the warn winch plug that was wired onto our dump trailer. Been excellent
