I don’t know where to start when it comes to this product.. let me start by saying; if you plan to get a puppy, have a puppy or any four legged family member this mud-rug is a must. We just added a two month old Dachshund named Lilly to the family, and as you know they don’t arrive potty trained. Well, long story short, Lilly has had many untimely and messy accidents inside, but unfortunately for us they all happened 100% on the mud-rug. I’m not sure what it is about these rugs, but dogs are drawn to them as if they were wee wee pads. We bought three of them because our thought was, if we have more than one, we will have one to put in its place while the soiled one is washing & drying, and it’s worked out perfectly. Once they soil number two on the mud-rug, you just remove the pile with a paper towel or pet disposal bag, and if it’s a messy kind all you do is swap it out with a clean one and throw the soiled one in the washer. It’s that easy! And as far as number one goes, you can rest easy knowing that the super absorbent materials soak up to 30-times their weight with absolutely no lingering odors, but that is completely your call. The main thing is; from day one of laying the mud-rug down, Lilly has NEVER did any business off the of the mud-rugs. They are also a fantastic tool for any type of messes i.e. heavy foot traffic all seasons, messy little ones, etc.. we even keep one in our garage entrance way to keep all the outside elements from entering the house. I can’t say enough about these house saving rugs.

We saw this in a local store but we didn't need one at the time. When looking for it again we couldn't find it so we ended up here on Amazon. We were a bit astounded by the price as many other similar rugs are half the price. However, this has been a game changer for us! We have 3 dogs and they often come inside tracking mud, snow, water, etc. in and we have to mop pretty regularly. We also had to use the "mud buster" on our dogs' paws each time they'd come in on a muddy day.We decided to just go ahead and buy this and try it because we saw so many good reviews about it. Ever since we got it, we haven't had to use the mud buster AT ALL!! We also only have to mop a regular amount, we don't have to mop any extra because of dogs tracking anything in. This rug literally just pulls everything off of their paws when they come in. And our dogs love it so much, that they actually lay on this rug just for the fun of it, hahaha. This rug is absolutely worth the money considering how much time it saves for us. Get it, you won't regret it!

So I've only had it for a few days so I cant attest to its long term durability BUT I think it is really well made & I expect it to be long lasting seeing the excellent quality of it compared to other "chenille type rug mats". I have used a number of things, besides plain mats, at my front door trying to catch not only the wet snow, ice, mud, dirt, rocks, but also the ice melting pellets and annoying little seeds & nut pieces that get tracked in from a tree in our yard and NOTHING has worked. We do not wear shoes in the house but we might as well because these things get tracked in to the front mat and then tracked across the whole house by the dog and my son's socks! Just one dog outing & I saw a difference! No wet footprints across the floor! No ice melting pellets on my carpet! I can see how this traps everything & absorbs wetness immediately! This is a game changer for me! This might literally save my sanity!!!! It is of great quality - nice & thick & soft on bare feet. I can take off my snow boots and not feel one bit of dampness on my feet! The backing is a nice thick quality rubber backing that grips nicely - no sliding or slippage at all! Like I said it is thick, but does not get in the way of the front door - it still opens & closes just fine over it. I got the 35x26 large size (in Mist color) which is perfect for my entryway as a mat for normal weather but I definitely would like the runner for winter so the first part of my carpet is protected and there's more room for snowpants and snow boots to come off without us huddling on a little mat at the doorway so I just saw the runner (in Mist) is $20 off so I had to take advantage and order it! I normally wouldn't spend that much but after trying out this large size, it's totally worth my sanity!!! The large size is reasonably priced for sure. And because it works so wonderfully i don't think the runner is OVER-priced, but it is above what I am comfortable spending; however w/ the $20 discount and given it is twice the size of this one I will take it! I would not have been able to purchase it had it not been on sale tho. I also just purchased the shammy towel also because this will be a great combo for wiping off the dog after he runs thru 2 ft of snow each time we go outside!! Thank you for making a wonderful product- I hope it holds up for a very long time as I expect it should.UPDATED: So I ordered the runner after loving the large mat so much...for some reason I mistakenly thought the large was 30x26 but it is not...it is 35x26 so when I ordered the runner (30x60) I thought they would be the same width but that was my mistake I got myself confused. I was hoping to use the runner in the same spot as the large mat at the front door just have it come out longer for the winter weather would be helpful. But it was too narrow for my purpose so I kept the large at the front door to continue using as a mat and the runner opposite it at the very first part of my carpet where my shoe tray is and all our outdoor stuff gets dropped! So this works out just as well because I just needed something to cover that portion of my carpet so we don't have to huddle on 1 tiny mat at the door with the dog when trying to take off snow boots/shoes, snow pants, wipe the dogs paws off etc. So now we have extra room to do that and my carpet will not get ruined! I love it! I added the 3rd pic to see the large mat & runner comparison. The scooter and show tray are covering part of the runner but it does go all the way to the wall.

This brand has more fiber tufts than Muddy Mat and seems to be better made. It has done a good job knocking off debris the dogs bring in on their feet. My main issue is the backing, which seems like that if a bathmat. Otherwise, I like it, and I love the paw print design!

I have purchased 7 of these rugs over the years. I have runners, matt's, and drying pad for dogs. These rugs are hands down the best! I have never had one tear up. The material holds so much dust, dirt, snow, or whatever your dog's bring in. They wash so well.Although you can dry them on low, I don't put mine in a dryer, I always hang them to dry.I recommend these especially for big dogs. I have tried other brands but I was never satisfied like I am with these.

Let me tell you guys. If you’re reading this review BUY IT! It is the NICEST mat ever! I bought one originally for my front door, so thick, perfect size, does not slip. It was so nice I bought more!

These are the best if you have dogs! My cats love laying on them. They are so soft under your feet. Love the colors! Bought a runner for my patio door. May have to buy another one for the other door. Highly recommend!

Nice look and color. Slip resistant, decent size. Worth the money.
