Too cute & works great!
I just gave this to my daughter today and it works wonderfully, even with the "test me" batteries still in. I did not replace them, yet. My 6 year old daughter was the recipient of this gift and she loves it. Not necessarily the pooping thing, but she loves walking him! And that he makes doggy noises. This dog is so cute! He makes puppy sounds when you press the button in and walks forward when you push the button forward. When you slide the button backwards, he sits down, farts & poops out his bones! It is so funny!I hope he lasts & if he doesn't, I WILL update this review accordingly. I know some people claimed that the dog does not walk and I just wanted to let shoppers know that mine works great! He seems to walk best on my floors. When we put him on a rug, he didn't walk as fast. I was debating between this dog & gogo my walkin pup and ultimately decided on this one because he's funny and I thought it was nice that my daughter could feed the dog (by shoving bones down his throat) and then walk him and clean up his poo! I am so glad I chose this dog for her gift! As a matter of fact, right now I'm babysitting him on the couch while she plays a game :) she keeps telling me, of all of her 13 gifts, "thank you, mom for max. She's just like a real dog!" As we were going to bed, I heard her telling her dog that she loves her. Totally love this thing! And if I could critique it at all, it would be that it should come with more bones! It only has 4 and I keep worrying she will lose them. And maybe a pouch to hold them.

Great fun, but few poops!
Lol, my 4 year old daughter wanted this for Christmas. It eats, it walks, it squats and it rapid fire poops bones.Everyone Christmas day that saw this operate was ummmm - impressed? We got a lot of laughs and everyone had a good time speaking with my 4 year old about the pooping puppy. His name is CaCa Max, that alone is pretty funny. My daughter only needed minimal instructions in order to operate this properly. When you push forward on the remote it stands up and walks in a semi-straight line. When you push backwards the dog squats. Push backwards some more and he will rapid eject poop bones all over the floor. You can't control how many, but you can do a few then a few more after some additional walking in most cases. I sure you can control the poops with a little practice! The only problem is that it only comes with 4 bones/poops. It would be great to have like 50 so you didn't need to keep feeding the dog.

My son LOVES animals and as cute as the dancing dogs are, I like that this is more realistic in that it eats and poops. I was told by my daycare center not to let my son bring it back though because he was playing with it at rest time and the farts were getting the kids wild up! lol!

Bought it for a 7-year-old niece who lives outside the country. The packaging is PAINFULLY LARGE, so you'll have to take it out of the box to fit it in your carry-on bag.It gets ONE *very generous* star because I cannot give NEGATIVE stars. This is because, as others have mentioned, it DOES NOT WALK! And it appears to be from the manufacturing process, so the manufacturer must not have tested it if so many are having problems with it walking right out of the box.SO, YOU ARE BUYING A SOFT DOG that farts and poops, but never moves. My niece was heartbroken.************* UPDATE *************We did get CaCa Max to finally walk. After trying new batteries, you have to push the button REALLY HARD. So it does walk...so I'll give it another star from my original 1 star-rating, but you have to push it so hard, I believe it is only a matter of time before it breaks, so it is still poorly manufactured, in my opinion. Definitely difficult for a child to push hard regularly, a.k.a. not child friendly....

Doesn't work.
Got this for a 6 year old for Christmas. What a disappointment! It doesn't work at all. Tried new batteries in it twice. Doesn't do anything. I'll be returning it.One star because he's soft.

Cute toy but disappointing first impression
Extremely difficult to open the package. The included batteries were corroded. You have to shake the dog at times for the bones to poop out. And there are no instructions on how to do voice command, nor have I been able to figure it out yet.

Hilarious toy - battery doesn't last too long
My kids think this toy is hilarious. We liked the name and the look of it, so we gave it a shot. My kids are between two and seven, and all of them liked it. It comes with four bones that then become the poops. I gave this four stars instead of five because after a few months the battery has given out. But this isn't really the type of toy I would expect to last forever. I'd buy it again.

Cute silly toy
My 3 boys love this toy. 6, 4, and 2, perfect silly you for gross boys. They love to make him toot and poop. 4 Little bones to keep tract of, I am impressed they haven't lost them. I used an old medicine bottle for them to keep them in.
