One of the top performing pomades
I'm relatively new to pomades but I've tried Crystal Lake from Shear Revival, Black Ship from Flagship and Suavecito. I tend to prefer water based pomades because of fear of balding, hair loss, acne and other issues associated with oil based pomades. The Crystal Lake was nearly perfect but didn't have enough hold. I loved the way it made my hair feel: soft, malleable, and slightly wet. Crystal Lake also smelled amazing but ultimately it didn't have enough holding power. Black Ship also had a nice desert rose scent but not quite as good as the incredible smelling citrusy scent of Crystal Lake. Black Ship outperformed Crystal Lake by quite a lot in terms of holding power, but it had no sheen whatsoever and I had to use a lot of it in my thick hair which meant it became expensive. Black Ship was also quite difficult to apply and pulled out gobs of my hair. Washing Black Ship out completely was also harder than any other pomade I've tried. Suavecito had decent performance but smelled like cheap deodorant, gross. So on to Teddy Boy(which I've been using about 3 weeks)...Shine:I like the shine of the Teddy Boy, it's by far the shiniest pomade I've tried. Somehow the shine seems to last most of the day, diminishing very little by the end of the day.Malleability:Teddy Boy remains malleable throughout the day, more so than any of the other pomade's I've tried. It is easily restyleable and never gets crunchy or hard at all.Build Up:Much of the product remains in the hair from day to day, in other words you will not have to applyanywhere near as much as you did on day 1 as you will on day 2 or 3. In the morning I may need just one or two small fingerscoops to complete my look.Holding Power:Teddy Boy is definitely a high medium. I'm a white man with very thick hair and I have no issues with Teddy Boy holding my hair in place all day. It stands up to wind quite well as well. The holding power with Teddy Boy is enough to hold a pomp up all day and it's power seems to compound with each new application each successive day.Scent:The smell is a cherry scent with a somewhat typical hair product scent. Not sure how to describe it, but I associate it with other hair products I've smelled before. The cherry smell is upfront the chemical hair product smell is in the back. I can smell it throughout the day but in no way is it overpowering.Suggestions for Improvement:Since day 1 of using it I have had minor but annoying forehead bumps. I suspect this is largely due to the artificial chemicals in Teddy Boy, I'm no chemist but some of the ingredients read like they are unnatural. If they could find a way to reduce the occurrence of forehead bumps from this product, I would say it's a perfect pomade.A plastic bottle makes the product feel cheap and in no way do I feel this is a cheap product. Good pomades come in glass jars, I would like to see them join the leagues of top shelf pomades with regardto packaging. A few variations in scent would also be nice, maybe a nice pine/cedar forest scent in addition to the refined cherry they are currently offering would be ideal. I have a large beard and use a lot of forest scented products in it, I'd prefer to keep the scents somewhat matching, I'd rather not smelllike a cherry and then a forest! Conclusion:I am enjoying Teddy Boy. It's medium-high hold is plenty for me, the scent is good, the sheen isexcellent, it goes in extremely easy in wet or dry hair alike, I don't have to a ton of it to achieve my look, my hair remains malleable throughout the day and the product is competitively priced.

Pretty Good Stuff
Overall, this is a pretty good product. Hold is medium....I've got finer, straight hair, for comparison purposes. It doesn't hold my hair slicked back all day, not even always half the day. But for me, I don't mind having it hang a little. Some great aspects of this product- the jar goes a long way, so price is actually pretty reasonable. It washes out super easy. I sometimes go a few days without using any shampoo or conditioner, just water, and my hair feels clean still. Even with the product in, you can definitely tell it's there, but it doesn't have any dirty feel to it (it doesn't leave your hands slimey if you touch it). If you put it in your hair when it's pretty much dry, your hair stays malleable all day. The only time this stuff really gives me any hassle is in real humid heat, or just overly hot days in general.....but good luck finding any pomade that holds up in heat. Any other water based pomade I've tried has not worked as well as this stuff. I've tried Suavecito, Imperial, American Crew (think that's water based, if not, it's not excessively oily). I tried oil based ones like Murray's and Murray's Superlight as well and was left with a head full of grease that looked like I hadn't bathed in a week. Not to mention the excessive hassle of getting the crap off your hands after application, and getting it out of your hair. Not worth it to me. In a nutshell, this is a decently priced pomade that lasts quite a while (I'd guess I used half the jar in about two months with mid-length hair), and does it's job as good, and better than most anything else I've ever tried. Best bang for your buck.

Outstanding performace
Definitely a game changer in the water based pomades. I've gotten the best hair days with this baby right here. The container (I bought the 2.5 oz jar) is well made: all plastic except the aluminum lid. I do like the new updated look, it improves the aesthetics a lot more. It's a creamy substance that's very easy to scoop out and apply on your hair. It gives great shine and fantastic hold that lasts the whole (and very hot) day - it never dries. I can definitely restyle if I so desire, and it leaves your hair feeling soft enough and great; not sticky or hard at all. I must say I love the smell - its a very nice peppermint fragrance that's not overpowering. The thing is, in order for me to get the most out of this pomade, I first need to blowdry my hair (I don't like to "have" to blowdry my hair when styling) in order to create volume and then apply this generously and evenly all throughout my hair. Even the instructions say that you should first blowdry your hair. I didn't give it the 5 stars because I believe there is room for improvement: maybe improving the hold a small bit in order to create more volume and height on your hairstyle. Besides that, I fully recommend this pomade; its the best WB pomade I've currently tried. If you're thinking about buying this pomade, go right ahead and get the 4 oz jar and as long as you're using it for what its meant, you're gonna love it.

An ok natural clay. Nothing much.
Let me give a honest review after I used a complete cup of this clay for past 6 months. Oly pro is this is natural or vegan w.o any petroleum ,sulphate paraben. No abnormal scent smell, small qty is enough for short hair. Easy to wash. it is like gel clay.Cons: not at all suitable for long hair even medium hair , oly for short hair. Hold is not at all good.I'm bit disappointed.
