This flash drive is better designed because the lighting adapter can fit into the iPhone even with my large case. I have another brand of usb drive that has the adapter flush to it case and I would always need to remove my phone case to use.This drive has the lighting adapter slightly raised fits secure and connects.The drive only works with the downloaded app. The app seems fast and works for copying and backing up.It has various ways to sort your photos and videos however, unlike the photos, you cannot sort videos by day which I find to be convenient. Hopefully, they correct that in a software update.The drive does come with a USB adapter for USB-C, so that works great for newer ports.The only undesirable flaw in the swivel design is that one end is always exposed.And there is no way to store the USB-C adapter except to stick it on.Overall, for the amount of capacity of 256gb, there is very little to complain and I find it extremely usable. With the app, backing up and saving storage in the phone is simple.

I’ve just received my USB Flash Drive for iPhone 256GB Compatible with iOS/Android/Windows for my new HP Touchscreen laptop that I just purchased for my early Birthday gift to myself & just opened the box & started using it right away.You have to download the CooDisk App fromApp Store so you can save & transfer you Pics & stuff.Its really like 1,2 & 3.I copied 637 items from my old computer to my USB Flash Drive & it only took about 40,45 minutes.Wasn’t bad @ all.I left it running & went on doing other things.Came back & it was all done.Then Plug it into my New HP Laptop & everything came right on up.The surprising thing is that my USB Flash Drive didn’t even get hot to be over heated.So right @ this moment I’m very pleased & if all goes well I mos def will be purchasing more..

The product arrived with a very small 3x5 card size "user's manual" with micro type that was impossible to read. I Googled the product and could find no info online. I did try loading some photos from my iPhone onto the drive - which went quickly - but when I bring them up in Windows Photo Viewer I repeatedly get an error message saying, "can't save this picture because an unknown error occurred." Bottom line, it was cheaper that the Apple certified alternative, but you have to figure everything out for yourself. And I have no idea how! If I were doing it again I'd spend the extra money for the certified version and hope it was better!

So far this is one of the best flash drives I have purchased. It is supposed to come with two Micro USB to USB 2.0 OTG Adapters which were missing so I had to return it. I have several flash drives and did not need another. The adaptors were the reason for the purchase and that is my reason for returning it but when I need another falsh drive I certainly plan on purchasing this one. Recommend highly, don't hesitate.

There is no way it is USB 3.1!It is not even USB 2.0Most likely it is USB 1.1Look at these number!I purchased this flash drive to save 200gb of family pictures and videos and music, but it looks like it is better to return it and look for something more desent

I have a different phone flash drive that my husband got me several years ago. That one doesn’t seem to be available anymore, so I purchased a different one for my sister for her birthday (not this one). It was fine, but I wanted one for my dad that had a place he could attach it to his keychain which is why I ordered this one. The app downloaded quick. The app is easy to use. The photos transferred very quickly to the flash drive from my phone. I think this will be great for him! I’m very happy with this purchase. No issues.

I bought this to move files between my Windows PCs and my iPad or iPhone. I tried doing this with photos. Writing jpeg files to this device from the PC was straightforward, as with any USB flash drive. Unfortunately, using the device on the Apple side was not so straightforward.On IOS, one must install the free app "Coodisk" from Apple's App Store. It's worth noting that this app has very poor reviews. I found that these were deserved.With the Coodisk software, moving the jpegs from this device onto my iPad was a bit clunky, but doable. On the other hand, moving photos or videos from the iPad to this device proved impossible. I tried attacking the problem in more ways than I can count--a frustrating few hours--but it never worked. From appearances, IOS was assigning the files to the Coodisk app, but the app never wrote them to the flash drive.It looks as if there are other, all too similar, products that use the same Coodisk app, and from the reviews, they don't seem to work any better than this one. Other devices use an app with a different name, but looking in the app store, that app has no better rating than Coodisk.A product that actually worked, in this space, would be most welcome.

I purchased this to take care of my huge iPhone photo collection. I am too cheap to purchase Apple's cloud service so I painstakingly copied and deleted photos to make my phone usable again.This is so fast and copied my photos so quickly. The app is pretty good but only allows you to back up contacts and photos. You can also take photos to the card directly. It's basic software but usable. I wish the app really allowed you to use the phone as a drive but I suspect that is an iOS limitation.Also, a cover for the Lightening connector would be great but you can buy a little case for it.Summary - it's a fast and reliable product.
