Immediate failure
I got an early failure. The packaging describes this a model SF-911B.I tried it on a Mac first (OS X 10.10.5) and it worked for about a minute or two. I recorded a couple seconds of sound and that looked very faint. After that I couldn't get the Mac to recognize the USB device even plugging it directly into the Mac. I moved to a Windows 7 machine and twice, in a few minutes of fiddling, the system tried to install a driver, but each time failed because it thought the device was immediately unplugged. I had to call this dead. The packaging was good and easy to open. The card with it has some specs. The accessories looked nice. It comes with a little bag--not tested. A nice plus seems to be the ability to wind the cable in the base--never tested since this is now junk. There is a little fat-cable module halfway down the cable. I assume the cable from that to the USB connector is USB, and if so, it is extremely thin. The cable wobbles inside the short strain relief at the USB connector and I'm guessing there is stress on the cable connections. The cable from the module to the mic is also thin.Mechanically, this small cylindrical mic is very nice for my needs (except for thin cables). I very much wanted this to work so I could order several. But, alas, my data point in reviews has to be one star because of the immediate failure.Update: The picture of the USB connector above (at this moment) is not representative of what I got. The picture shows a cable about 4 mm wide and mine is about 2 mm in diameter. My connector is much shorter (only 27 mm) and the strain relief is a third the size (about 4 mm) and the extension (for cable clamping?) is nonexistent. The inside diameter of the strain relief is about 3 mm on mine, so the cable wobbles about inside. I have seen pictures by other sellers of a similar mic and, if I remember right, the connector in those pictures look like mine. So, it looks like some of these might have been made with the wrong cable and connector. And while I'm measuring... The mic is 9 mm in diameter and 24 mm long (not counting the cable coming out the end). The mic and stand are about 70 mm tall when it points to the side and 100 mm tall when it points up 45 degrees. The stand diameter is about 75 mm.

Kinobo Microphone USB with Microphone Clip & Stand
Purchased for my Wife to use in her home Real Estate office. She has been doing some work over the internet with Skype and another tool. She needed a better quality microphone so some of her clients could hear her better than with just the Laptop Mic. This Microphone from Kinobo has done the trick! It installed quickly on her laptop. The wound on the receiving in is of much greater quality that the internal mic. Now, She will not get on to speak to someone without clipping this to her shirt first! The Mic stand is cool as well, if you are planning on staying stationary.I received this at a discount for my honest review. This review was not traded for the discount and reflects my personal experience with this product. If you found this helpful, please vote or comment to let me know. Thanks!

It is a waste of time and has not worked consistently for more ...
I have been trying to configure this mic properly for Windows 10 speech recognition for weeks now. It is a waste of time and has not worked consistently for more than a sentence or two. I have adjusted my settings numerous ways, and borrowed a friend's mic to see if my computer had a problem. Nothing wrong with the computer or settings, just a terrible mic. It may be good for skype or voip calls, but worthless for speech control and dictation.

Cute little mic
This is about the cutest mic ever. I bought this for a gift for my husband. The little tie clip for the mic is simple, and I'm still going with cute. But for those who don't want cute, it is simple and classic, and very small. It does a great job of capturing sound, and works perfect with skype. Useful for a group mic or a individual one. Love that it can use the stand or tie clip option. Really nice little mic. Perfect for a gift. Fun thing!I was given a discount in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid in any way and all opinions are my own.

Nice convertible mic - very handy!
I tested this mic with Skype and it worked perfectly on the first try. Some microphones that I have used have had driver issues in the past, or wouldn't play nicely with Skype, but this one worked right out of the box with no issues. I also like the fact that it has a lapel option so that if I didn't want to use it on my desk top, I can very easily clip it on to my shirt as well. I received this product at a discount for evaluation and review purposes and it is a winner!

It's pretty sensitive which is both a plus and a minus
It's a decent microphone. I had to do a bit of fiddling with the settings in Windows to get it to pick up properly. It's pretty sensitive which is both a plus and a minus. My biggest criticism, and perhaps it is something to do with my system – I don't know, is that there is a high pitched ringing sound being picked up by it at all times. I can't figure out a way to get rid of it. I may end up returning it for a different one, but it still gets the job done.

but generally pretty good. Great value
Cheap and cheerful to prove a concept. Sound is very slightly muffled, but generally pretty good. Great value, and is working well for presentations at the office via Skype for Business. Cant complain at the price.

Still better than my laptop microphone
Firstly, the recording quality is average, no more no less. Still better than my laptop microphone, but not good enough to be used for casual videos commenting.Lastly, the worse thing about it: it stopped working a few days after I received and started to use it. That's scam.
