New Balance Women's WL574 Pop Safari Pack Runner Sneaker

Good shoes for casual walking, and I used to wear them to the gym. After a while I realized they really aren't cut out for that. I'm not a runner, ("shopping is my cardio") but do a lot of weight training and cardio (think treadmill, stairs, elliptical, etc.) in the gym. That means that the difference in terrains could be the make or break for someone on these. Otherwise, they're super fashionable, I get lots of compliments on them, and they're overall really comfortable. For extended walking I wouldn't even recommend, as the arch support starts to ween after several hours. I have a pretty high arch, but am not easily affected by shoes in that way. If you're looking for a casual walking/jogging shoe- this might be good for you. If you're looking for some dope sneakers, these are definitely it. However, if you're looking for a good fitness center shoe, I recommend something with a memory foam insole that allows the entire foot to spread as you make impact on the surface (floor, ground, etc.) All in all though New Balance is a great brand, and they delivered again. They also last as long as you take care of them! I have a pair from high school that could still hold its own.

The colors are great. Super cute. But other than that --- not a very good or comfortable athletic shoe. I've worn these to the gym a few times and they make my toes hurt. The shoe overall is NOT comfortable at all (like what you'd expect from a tennis shoe). And the squeak!!!! You can hear me coming from down the hall and around the corner! It;s so embarrassing!!!! Would NOT purchase again! This is 1 item I feel like "looks are definitely deceiving."

I had read that these shoes tended to be a little wide in the heel...but did not think much of it. They are from NB...who is known for a narrow shoe. These are really wide in the heel. So much that I can not wear them to the gym because they rub my heel and are giving me a blister. to be fair, I have a narrow foot...and an even narrower heel, like a AAA in width. I am pretty disappointed in the fit. I am not sure what I will do with the shoes...keep them for walking (???) or give them away.

I don't purport to exercise in any way, but if I did, I probably wouldn't do so in these shoes. These are more of a dog walking, run to the supermarket kind of shoe, especially if you like to do those tasks in very loud shoes. Shoes are comfortable, but have thickish soles and lack the interior cushioning that 574s once featured. They are not exactly lightweight. This is my fourth pair of New Balance 574 shoes. Great for everyday wear, not so much for athletic endeavors.

A bit narrower and stiffer then the other New Balance shoes I have. They also have a bit more heel then a typical running shoe, the colored strip over the white part of the sole is an actual lift adding to the heel height, or drop as they call it in sneakers.Note: I bought two different colors of these and mix them.

New balance shoes are the only shoes that I have been able to wear since I broke my ankle years ago. They are always comfortable - these, however, are not waterproof.

These shoes are great and so colorful. I enjoy wearing them. They match every color sweatsuit that I own. Also, they are great with hears and a colorful tee shirt. The shoes are comfortable and give my feet the support they need. I highly recommend this shoe based on my experience.

This shoe is comfortable, very light weight, and brightly colored. Love how it looks!

Fabulous!Really comfortable. I wore these for the first time on a long dog walk and they gave me no problems at all.If you're looking for a funky pair of NB these are they! However if you're one of the minamalist grey brigade don't go there - these are for the "bold and brave" with imagination and flare!

This product arrived on time which make my daughter very happy. Excellent quality.

I chose the Green-Red one when I ordered, but I've got a purple one. Obviously the purple one is not lovely as the red one.

Really comfortable runners and I think they look great too!
