SENA 50S-01 Bluetooth Headset SINGLE Kit for Motorcycles (1 Headset), 50S-01

This unit is awesome. I installed it on a Arai Corsair X. I took out the war padding in the helmet but used the supplied padded spacers for the speakers. If you have to much distance between the speaker and your ear it will sound low. Mine is slightly touching my ears but not so much to make it uncomfortable pressure. Everyone’s head may vary but the closet you can get it to your ear the better it will sound. It does sound great. The music is loud and the voice calls are clear and the caller can’t even tell I’m on the motorcycle. The wind starts to overlay the audio once you pass 50-60 but it’s still loud enough to hear it even as fast as 70mph. Battery lasts long. Never went dead on me and I drove with it and used it most of the day. Jog dial easily raises and lowers the volume. It has the radio built in and the intercom but I haven’t tried or wanted to use those features. However based on the audio with phone calls and music I’ve no doubt it sounds great. Speaker placement is key if you want to hear it clearly and loud. Good luck

I never post product reviews but this product is nothing less than amazing! My buddy and I went on a three hour ride today and it worked as advertised! We did everything we could to debunk the product and couldn't. With two riders we were able to separate up to a mile before we lost contact. As soon as it was in range, it chimed right in. The sound clearance is amazing considering how loud our bikes are. At no time did we have a problem transmitting or receiving. The down side with two riders or more is it picks up the radio of the motorcycle and can be heard clearly if you are trying to have a conversation. The mike is so good you can hear the shifting of the other riders bike as well if they make sudden moves in their seats. It is so easy to set up and operate but I did carry the quick guide just in case. The sound is more than you need which is great and switching to a wheel makes operating it very easy. GOOD JOB GUYS!!

I bought this product a little while back and it has worked great. Until of course, the battery has died within minutes even after charging for hours. It seems to be a prevalent problem for the 50s series. I have updated it to the latest firmware as it was said it would fix the issue, but it still has prevailed for me. The only other option if you run into the same issue is to submit a support ticket to SENA directly, or buy another. Considering how I bought mine for less than $275 and they are now over $350, submitting a ticket is the best option.

I was riding down the road when the first call came in from my son. One click near my ear and we were connected. There was no wind noise or cancellation. Music comes through clearly. Easy to turn up or down. I've installed a charger on my handlebars, so recharging will be easy while I'm riding. I was reluctant to install a Bluetooth, thinking it would be a distraction, but the music is comforting. Wish I had bought it sooner. Great product and super easy to install.

Right out of the box, never could get 50S to link to any bluetooth unit tried iPhone 12, MacBook Air, iMac. Used Sena's iOS phone app (rated just over 2 stars on Apple app store) owner manual is only available online-doesn't come with unit. English is a translation so difficult to follow. Buttons are non-distinguishable, poorly located. The Box was nice. Maybe they need to spend less on the packaging and more on the instructions, design, and software.

The Sena is way overpriced when it comes to the battery life. Recharge after 3 hours? What's up with that

I have the sena 10, this 50S changed everything!! Its louder, and I can understand what's playing. I have a 19 goldwing, the wind noise is not a factor! What i like most, is i can dismount the sena separate from my helmet to charge it. It also has a separate port for wired earbuds!

Sadly, my Sena 20S works better than the 50S.If you don't mind pushing buttons on your helment while riding then I guess it is ok.If you buy this thinking it will reply to voice commands you will likely be very disappointed !Your phone will likely reply from "hey google" commands (maybe), but the Sena voice commands are about a decade behind and extremely unreliable !!!👎👎

娘、娘親子との４人でのツーリング用に購入。割高感ありありでしたが、汎用性、品質を考えて本品を選びました。製品そのものは満足ですがちょっと高いかな？たまに混線？一度、海外の友人に勝手に電話した状態になり驚きました・・・原因は不明・・・

It is a small thing but nowhere in the printed or online instructions does it say how to remove the boom microphone without damaging it. Easy to do once you know how but I can see some users getting frustrated and breaking the small piece.
