Practically invisible
I bought this lamp for my husband but do look at it more than he does since we sit across from each other. I think it's unobtrusive, which is an improvement on the lamp it replaced, and seems to give off good light (not sure how the no bulb part works but I guess we will find out at some point). He doesn't seem quite as delighted with it as I am and I do offer to switch back to the old one and take this one to work but so far he hasn't taken me up on the offer. It's a little expensive for not delighted.

This lamp looks great and works perfectly on my desk
This lamp looks great and works perfectly on my desk. Looks amazing next to my Mac equipment and my antique desk. Just the right blend of modern and classic with the wood colored base. The touch switch is a nice feature. I can send as much light as a need directly to my desktop without reflecting off the screen.My old light was a CFL fixture - even that gave off a bunch of heat. This is cool and doesn't radiate heat at all.The charging base is a nice feature. I have a QI case for my Iphone and just set the phone down to charge while I'm working.Silly party trick: touch the lamp and don't release. Then, have someone touch you - the lamp changes levels. My kids think it's magic.

A very unique and beautiful lamp!
I think the saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. Yes, you can pay a lot less for a lamp but this one is beautiful aesthetically and very unique. There is a lot to like, from the light (OLED) to the touch to turn on feature My favorite part about the light is that it is so slim, and it matches very well in a house with mid-century modern decor. I don't have a phone with wireless charging capabilities so I wasn't able to try that feature out.

Pre-ordered directly from manufacturer while they we're being crowdfunded. Cool product, does what you'd expect and its modern aesthetic pairs well with the industrial design of various apple products. Haven't got around to using the charging feature yet but i'd imagine it works as expected.
