Great Coloring Book For All Ages
As much as I really love this book, I'm afraid that I could only give it five stars, since that's all Amazon allows for it.I had this book when I was a kid of about 8 or 9, and I'm finding just as much pleasure in coloring the pages in it now as I did back then. When I was a kid, I never cared for coloring books featuring well-known cartoon characters, or characters from children's shows like Sesame Street, Blue's Clues, or Barney. To me, those kinds of coloring books came with restrictions on how to color. Bugs Bunny is always to be colored grey. Oscar was colored green. Barney was to be colored purple. You could color other items in the pictures any color you wanted. If the character was playing with a ball, as long as the ball had no distinct features identifying it as a tool used in a specific sport (like baseball or basketball), then you could color it any way you liked. With this coloring book, and others like it, there are no rules. You can color it any way you feel comfortable coloring it. I remember spending countless hours coloring in it, while listening to an audio cassette tape recording of a movie I liked, that I recorded from the TV. Sometimes when I look at the pages in this book, I can picture myself back to when I was 8 or 9, sitting at the little desk we had in the dining room for me, listening to the cassette tape.A lot of the mandalas are great for coloring again and again. I may order another copy or two, just to recolor some of the mandalas I've already done. I also have a program on my computer that allows me to draw my own mandalas, and sometimes I'll turn to this coloring book, as well as the other three in the series, for inspiration or ideas.I highly suggest getting this coloring book for anyone who still likes to color, or if you have kids who are like I was, and really don't care for coloring books featuring cartoon characters. This book is really more of a challenge to the imagination than any coloring book featuring a specific set of characters. It's an easy, yet difficult book to color. The spaces in the mandalas are big enough for children to color, with a few smaller areas that might be hard for children, yet not so for adults. The real difficulty here is deciding which color to choose.

Excellent for Low Vision
I have a very low vision kiddo who loves coloring, especially mandalas, she finds it relaxing. The problem is most of the books out there are too fine & detailed for her to use. This was perfect, she absolutely loves it. The only issue I have is that I really wish the pages were just a little thicker & that there were more pages/images. Since she can see very little she has to use markers to color with & so we just put a thin piece of cardboard (cut a cereal box to size) behind her pages as she colors so it doesn't bleed through. And since the book doesn't have very many pages she's already about halfway through, and has only had it four days.

LOVE this
I am a 41 yr old who loves to color but have just boys and have always yearned for fun pages to color but never had anything i truly enjoyed. Now that the boys are older they don't really color in coloring books so I bought this for me to just try on a whim. So happy with it and love the quality of the pages. I love that it is only one design per page so the color doesn't bleed through if you use markers. I bought another coloring book and am not happy with that one. This one has actually been the one my boys have started grabbing to color. I was feeling kind of selfish and wanting to keep it all to myself due to the cost of it but then decided to let them enjoy it too if they choose b/c they are only young once and this time is going to pass so fast.Very good quality and I really enjoy the designs...they are beautiful.

Everyone's Mandala Coloring Book (v.1)
I had the original 1978 Mandala Coloring Book but it was accidentally given away. I thought this book would have all the original drawings but it did not, thus four stars out of five. I still love the book, but plan to use it in my quilting this time around. The designs will work well for quilting templates as well as color crayon processes. I can't wait to get started.

nice coloring book
Most of the designs appeal to me, I like when they are purely geometrical and in this book they all are except for one. They designs are not to complex, which is a good thing as it means the are possible to finish in about an hour or so. I love to relax in the evening with a cup of tea, lighted candles, some soft music and a mandala!

friends children) and they loved them too
These are really relaxing to color. I bought this during one of the more stressful periods of my life, and it helped a lot. I would just put in some headphones, color a picture and zone out for a while. I've given them to some of the younger people in my life (nieces, friends children) and they loved them too! Really, they are great for people of any age or gender.

Beautiful and easy patterns to color
Beautiful and easy patterns to color. Not like some that are almost too detailed it gives you a headache trying to figure how to color coordinate the extremely detailed pages in the books. This one is much more easier and relaxing and enjoyable.

Surprised
When I received this book, I felt disappointed. After waiting several weeks to color one of the pictures with colored pencils, I have to say I was wrong. The pictures seem somewhat simplified, but that is an advantage as there is plenty of room for one's own creativity. Creating my first picture from the book made me feel better and the result was amazing. Very good therapy. I could see it helping raise self-esteem.

Lovely to share
This is a brilliant book of black and white pictures that you can colour in as part of a meditation practice. I also mailed Monique to ask if I could copy them and use with my classes and she kindly agreed provided I gave her credit for her work. (I know a couple of students went on to purchase this or one of her other books). As adults we often forget to make time to be creative and this is a simple way of reconnecting with our inner child. Ideal for those who feel they are 'not creative or cannot draw' and a useful practice for bringing the mind to stillness. I have a couple of her other Mandala colouring books which are just as lovely.

Great Basic Mandalas.
Another book I bought while sitting with my broken ankle suspended, thereby having time to indulge in one of my favourite hobbies! I'm an adult who likes to colour - no shame in that! This book, however, is quite a basic mandala book, so I would recommended it for those starting out with them, or even for younger colourers. You can also actually add your own lines, making each one a little more personal. It's also always nice to be able to look inside before making a purchase.
