Good: I can't think of where to get a halogen with more light/watt. I don't know of an LED yet that is as bright in this tiny package that fit my fixtures.Bad: I've ordered and used these in multiple fixtures over the last four years. They don't give me the life span expected.Ugly: Over the last year, I've had 2 bulbs explode. Shattering glass spayed out from my wall fixture to the living room floor below. We were not hit, fortunately, and had the opportunity to vacuum up the shards before the dog got near, but it was scary.

Nice bright light. Light fixture had a slide control that allows fine control of light output. Light fixture is infrequently used with use about 50/50 bright to dim. I've found the bulb need to be replaced about every 2 years. I would rate the Ratio of time of use to replacement time no better than average. I am also extremely cautious that I don't touch the bulb with my bare hands when replacing...I use a cotton glove.

Burned out very quickly in a standard hanging fixture. Probably requires the active cooling the strobe light fixtures provide

our fan/light control isn't compatible with LED yet, these fit perfect.

i appreciate that on the first damaged bulb, a replacement was sent quickly, but all the bulbs have either a short life or arrive damaged. too bad, hard to find this specific item

Bright light and perfect for my fixture.

This was a replacement for my 2 intensity reading lamp. The old halogen bulb lasted many years while this one died after 2 months of non intensive usage .I now use a tubular led instead . It fits very thight and is only 1 intensity as it is non dimable but i hope it will last as it should.

Great lightbulb!! 2nd one I've purchased that doesn't even work. Amazing!!! Now I have to go through the return process to return a broken item. Absolutely ridiculous
