Mammoth Serenity Ultrasonic Essential Oil Aromatherapy Diffuser 135ml, Pure White

Like others, I find opening the unit to be frustrating. I've found making a tiny counter-clockwise twist to the outer plastic and another to the inner plastic gets it apart. I keep the unit at face level on my nightstand for use at night. I placed duct tape over the strobing light that lets you know the unit is between diffusing when it's set on the two or three minute diffusion frequency setting, because there's no way to shut that off and it's pretty obnoxious at night. It runs all night using the three minute interval so I like that feature. It seems when it auto shuts off there is still plenty of water in the unit, maybe more than 50%, which I don't understand. I use this item and it works sufficiently for my needs, but I don't think I would recommend it to anyone else. Spend more money and get something with a better set of reviews.

This was my second purchase of this product and I still love it. I am kind of bummed however, because it seems that mammoth has gone out of business. I tried to access their website to redeem an offer coupon they sent with this product and their site was no longer active. I love how quiet this device is. It is also beautiful. I have had a bit of trouble getting it to stay on the constant on setting (true of my other one as well), however, I don't find that the cycling setting bothers me so I didn't let it affect my review.

I gave this a four because we have three in our office that work fine. Co-worker and I each ordered one for our home and they did not work. One worked twice then quit completely. The other one would work for ten minutes then shut down. We use natural oils and the office smells great. There is a little difficulty getting the lid on and off. Will order again and hope we get working ones.

Love my diffuser....the fine mist allows the oils to penetrate the house. I have one on both levels of my home and absolutely love it. I'm not sure why previous customers had a hard time opening the unit, a half a turn counterclockwise and lift, was pretty easy.I'm so glad I have this in my home!

This diffuser didn't hold as much as I had thought. Hard to fill with out spilling. Difficult to clean as well. Diffuser ended up breaking with in a 2 month time period.Pro: sleeker design and quiet.

I loved the design of this diffuser but unfortunately it spills water easily. It also kept shutting down and at the end it did not work. I didn't have this item for longer than a month.

works ok, although when you are actually ABLE to get the device open (which even Houdini would have issues with), the stream of vapor is so tiny you would have to put it very high up for any effectiveness....i like it ok, but every time i have to fill it and try to open it, i want to toss it off of my balcony.
