Paprika, Hot Hungarian-1Lb-Hot Hungarian Paprika Spice Bulk

Received this quickly and it smelled great, however this is not hot paprika. It barely has a kick. I tripled the amount in my paprikash and there was no heat at all. Very disappointed.

This is paprika with BIG FLAVOR AND HEAT! I love this stuff! Rub this on chicken with some salt and butter and roast it, the best and easiest way to impress! Tastes great and looks beautiful! Also great on pork and fish. I highly recommend this! I love dry rubs with this, too.

It arrived expeditiously, but to be honest, the paprika itself was pretty much disappointing. Perhaps I'm spoiled by exposure to the Hungarian version...

I was very excited when I found I could order a whole pound of Hungarian hot paprika, as we go through a fair amount of it. I have a couple of family favorite dishes that call for it, and I wind up going through the 4 or 5 oz tins ridiculously quickly. The package arrived very quickly, I was truly pleased and impressed with the shipping. The paprika is a gorgeous red color, and smells great. Used it for the first time last night, though, and either it was mislabeled or it's very mild for hot paprika. I wound up putting 3 times what I normally use, and the "goulash" had barely any heat to it at all. Normally, a quarter cup in 18 quarts is borderline too much. 3/4 cup should practically kill you. Instead, it was barely above tomato soup. Very disappointed.

I had a hard time finding hot paprika in stores, all I ever found was sweet and smoked. Having grown up in Germany , in my opinion the only way to make Goulash is with spicy hot paprika.In short I LOVE this product and will buy it again.

Good quality paprika with nice flavor. This is more mild than I am used to in a hot paprika, but it does have nice flavor. I am Hungarian and I usually prefer a substantially hot paprika. I would consider this a mildly hot paprika. Fast shipping and great quality for the price.
