Works well - somewhat hard to clean
I have only used it once. I found the egg likes to stick on the sides. I'm going to try spraying some oil first to see if that helps.

Easy to use and makes a great breakfast
McD’s has increased prices but I can’t do without an egg McMuffin every once in a while. It is easy to use and washes up real easy. I’m experimenting with new ingredients to add to the usual egg and Canadian Bacon. One thing I recommend is to put a thin layer of butter inside the top and bottom. That makes it so much easier to wash

Quick & healthy!
1 egg + whip it with a fork. Add 1TB sausage or bacon bits. Whip again. Cook 50 sec in microwave. Remove from microwave & add about a TB OF cheddar cheese & immediately close the lid. Let it set on the counter until cheese melts. Quick, easy and more protein staying power for breakfast than cereal! I bought several since they are inexpensive and make quick breakfasts!

After one year of use...
I still love this product. I purchased two. The first one I bought, we are still using. My husband uses it way more than me (he is homebound while I still have to work full time so he's home to cook for himself). The second one I bought, had a disformed hinge and we avoided using it very much, but it eventually broke on one side. However, it is still usable. If you use it right, and make adjustments to your own microwave settings, this thing works very well! While I'm not a big fan of microwaving fresh foods, it does work very, very well.A suggestion my husband gave me was to spray the unit with cooking spray (I like to use a tiny bit of butter) and gently poke the egg yoke with the fork not more than two times (eight holes), it keeps the yoke from bursting. The first time I poked the egg yoke with a fork, the yoke burst open. I have learned how to "gently" poke the egg yoke now :-)A suggestion I gave to my husband was to cook the egg on a little less power so that the egg is not constantly getting cooked "hard", it allows the cook process a little rest, and I get runny yokes and cooked whites (I can't handle runny whites). So there you have it. I hope this helps you make your decision. I do recommend it, but you have to experiement with adjusting your microwave to suit your preference.

The best I've found
I didn't realize how good this product was until I bought something that looked very similar. I always put a few drops of oil into the bottom and spread it around before cracking an egg into it to prevent sticking, which works great for cleanup in the Nordicware. Other products work fine for a while until the smooth coating wears off, then no matter how much oil you use it's a stuck-on mess to clean. The Nordicware is a superior product that I've used for many years and never had a problem with sticking eggs. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money, it's worth it.

Great Microwave Egg Thingy But...
Would have given 5 stars but the thingy is a tad wide. If the diameter was a touch smaller this would be perfect! I bought this because plastic bowl I've been using was also a little wide. This is wider (sigh). Still, it makes a nice round egg for your sandwich. One tip for one egg: Wipe with some butter. Add egg, break yolk and cook for one minute/ten seconds @ power level 5. This makes a perfect, tender egg without popping, exploding or over cooking.

Easy to use and clean
My husband uses this everyday. I bought his first one at the grocery store but now I never seem to see them. When I saw this on Amazon I had to get it. After a while of mixing the egg and putting in the microwave his original one was getting hard to clean. Believe me, it is worth every penny. He places his English muffin in the toaster, takes a fork and mixes up his egg and places sausage, cheese or whatever in this and microwaves it. Fixes his own breakfast is a plus for me!!!

Excellent Egg Cooker
This is my second one of these; got the first one as a gift. If you need to quickly cook an egg or two for a morning egg sandwich, or whenever you feel like having eggs in general, but don't have time to break out a pan and such, this is the way to go. Having used it multiple times, I would recommend no more than two (2) eggs at a time and always put it in for 90 seconds (unless you want your yolk to be on the runny side, then 60 seconds is fine). Bought the second one to keep at work.

One egg wonder
This is just the thing when you want a micro-omelette or single scrambled egg. So fast and easy. Two beaten eggs is a bit much for this little treasure so stick with one and you will be happy.
