I recently purchased the Catalina Lighting 96" Transitional 5-Light Integrated LED Flex Track Ceiling Light, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This lighting fixture has transformed my space and offers a multitude of design options that suit my needs perfectly. As you can see in my photo, the before (old fixture) and the after with this. Great upgrade!The setup and installation process were surprisingly easy, even for anyone who isn't particularly handy. The well-written directions and design templates provided with the fixture made the installation a breeze. I was able to get it up and running in no time, thanks to the clear instructions and practical knowledge.One of the standout features of this fixture is its flexibility in design. I love how I can adjust the individual lights along the track to focus on different areas of the room, creating customized lighting effects for any occasion. This adaptability is a huge plus, and it adds versatility to my space.Although the fixture comes with included bulbs, I decided to replace them with Wi-Fi bulbs that offer various colors and white temperatures. This upgrade has allowed me to have even more lighting options and control the ambiance of my room with ease. The compatibility of the fixture with different bulb types is a significant advantage.The only minor downside I encountered was that the bulbs, whether the included ones or the Wi-Fi bulbs, were a bit challenging to install in the fixtures. Even with the included suction cup, it took some effort to get them in place. However, since they're LED bulbs, I believe this is a one-time inconvenience, and I won't need to replace them frequently. The manufacturer may want to consider a minor redesign here.In conclusion, the Catalina Lighting 96" Transitional 5-Light Integrated LED Flex Track Ceiling Light is an excellent addition to any space. It offers easy setup, flexible design options, and compatibility with various bulbs, including Wi-Fi bulbs for added convenience. Despite the minor issue with bulb installation, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. It has elevated the lighting in my dining room and added a touch of sophistication to the decor. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a stylish and versatile lighting solution.

Some good things I wondered about but could not confirm until I received the product: The power hub can be placed anywhere along the rail, middle, end, wherever. The bulbs are indeed replaceable, in fact they come in separate boxes to install. I don't think they planned for this, but if you don't want the full 96", the rail can be cut shorter. The caps on the ends have an allen head set screw. There is also a dab of adhesive in the cap, but you can still pull the it off with a little force and shorten the rail then replace the cap if you wish. Nice looking lamps, with decent quality and more versatile than it describes on the website.

Was looking to update our entrance hall lighting. The old track was a bit industrial-punk with extremely hot halogens. We wanted brighter lighting with LEDs. We also wanted a flex track to customize the look a little bit and light up a particular piece of art on a perpendicular wall.During the installation, we discovered that the flex track had limited flex capabilities. The track has 'memory' and will cooperate in only a few ways:- the track can be made into a circle- the track can be an "S" shape if the center is the power source.- the track can be a semi-circle- the track can be straightened to a line BUT the ends will curl. It will never be completely straight.We opted for the straight line with the ends slightly curled in the same direction. It looks fine but it's not what we originally had hoped to do. Que sera.If you are looking for a perfectly straight line or a flex that can accommodate a 90° angle (around a corner), you need to keep looking for another type of track.Other than that word of caution, this is a good kit. It comes with good instructions (3 languages English, French and Spanish). It comes with all the hardware necessary and the LED bulbs. Anyone who can competently handle minor home repairs and use basic tools can install this.Overall, it was a little disappointing that we could not flex this track to 90° as we had originally wanted to, but it ended up as a non-issue because we were able to simply point all of the lights to the areas we wanted lit in the first place. Our hall has bright, updated, lighting (using cooler LED's) and that was the whole point of making the switch.Update: Two days later, the on/off switch was replaced with a dimmer switch. Yes, these lights are dimmable.

Had accent lighting in the basement in the new house but that’s it. It was a little like a dungeon after dark. So I used this which keeps the accent !it also pushes light out further into the other corners of the room. Pretty easy to install. Need two people for putting the track up. I installed in drywall. Got mushroom head toggles from hardware store as I didn’t trust drywall screws included.

Just got this unit but haven't installed it yet. First problem- 5 lights but only 4 bulbs.Edit: Found the other bulb. It was crushed into the top foam piece. Will update after installation.

This replaced an older version of a light that blew out. Looks very high end and a little retro. Nice and bright and I love that the lights can face in different directions. Easy to have installed, I have high ceilings so I couldn’t do it myself.

I’ve had these lights 2 years and two lights are out. You can’t buy replacement bulbs. Expensive piece of junk. Plenty of light but eventually I’ll have to replace it with one that works(:

Nice fixture, A bit of work to install, but lots of options. I needed a track light that the box didn't have to be centered on. This fixture allows to the box to be anywhere on the length of the track. The lights are quite bright, in fact, I am running it on a dimmer and have it set at 50% because full is a bit too bright. The lamps are replaceable and I may re-lamp it to a lower power for my use. Looks good in the room!

You cannot replace the bulbs. Not as advertised. We’ve had this for 2 years. Not sure how this could be sold by Amazon as something that can have the bulbs replaced when they clearly can’t be!

This was the only lighting solution that worked for me. The track was flexible. The main power unit could be put anywhere and the lights/mounts could be placed anywhere on the track too. The bulbs that came with the lights were decent. However they were closer to 2700K than 3000K they were rated for (i.e. more yellow). I swapped out for Luminous gu10 bulbs. The mounting hardware they provided is junk (the drywall anchors and screws). Use your own. I got mine from home depot, look similar but split when screw goes through. The one they sent don't split and as a result don't stay in place. Loved the dark bronze/black look. Took about an hour to install with minimal tools. Very happy with this track light!
