just right
Not too easy and not too hard. This reading primer was exactly what I was looking for. I would say I'm an advanced beginner in that I can sound stuff out but I'm super slow. I had a good vocabulary so I can understand better than I can read so I needed more practice material that wasn't for babies but not for adults either.

Very useful.
A very good introduction to various formats of reading materials so you can see which styles of reading you need to work on most as well as what you enjoy the most. It also provides a good model of how to continue studying while reading in the future.

Great for all levels
I honestly thought I was too advanced for this type of material but in actual fact I'm learning a lot. Even though I knew most of the vocabulary it's nice to get more exposure to how native speakers form sentences. And it turns out I was wrong about the meaning of certain idioms.

Good selection of reading material with helpful notes. Printed in b&w not colour.
The book contains a nice variety of written material for reading practice in Polite, casual and plain form styles. Each chapter has short manageable hangul segments with helpful grammar notes and English translations provided. The book is in a larger format than the 3 Korean made simple books by Billy Go. I would say it’s A4 size, this helps with reading some of the content such as the comic strips which might be too small to read easily otherwise. What I did find a little disappointing, and removed a star for, is the fact that the printed book is in black and white and not in colour as it is shown in the ‘look inside’ preview on the Amazon site. There was no mention of the book being in black and white only. I thought that it would be in colour because of the cost too since it is a relatively slim paperback with around a quarter of the number of pages of each of the 3 Korean made simple books by this author.Overall I am satisfied with the book.

A must have book for Korean learners
Thinner than expected but packed full of information. I'm internediate level, it would be too difficult for beginner level students. Highly recommend this book, and his other books also.

Helpful
I found this reading book helpful in practising sounding out the Hangul alphabet phonetically. I am a beginner, so my vocabulary is still limited but through this book, I'm learn new words and I am able to recognise familiar everyday words and pattern formations, which I'm sure later will click and make sense to me.

Things a textbook wouldn't teach you :)
Arrived quickly in perfect condition :) The formatting of the book inside threw me off a little but I'm used to it now :D Very well chosen reading material! Recommend :)
