Q: Will this record PS4 party chat without extra cables or adapters?

short answer: no. It will record the party audio, but not yours. You would have to have an extra input to the pc to record your voice

I'm not 100% sure of what you mean. This device records at 1080p but whatever comes into it will otherwise be recorded. If the image going into it has HDR, it will record that. HDR is something done by whatever made the image- if the incoming image is HDR so will the recording be. Also whatever picture you send through the device will pass through to the TV normally, as if the capture card wasn't even there. This device is for streaming game consoles and such, and is not intended for recording TV shows and other protected content. Hopefully something there will help you, it was difficult to understand your question.

Roughly 14" long, it is a USB C to USB A cable. Any other cable cannot be used (tried USB C to USB C)
