Absolutely great. Very comfortable. Great protection. Size fits great. Light weight but strong.

Only needed to use it a handful of times since I've bought it, but it is certainly better then a standard cap while providing decent safety comfortably. Getting hit in the head will certainly still hurt, but this will do great for keeping you from serious head trauma to a point. Be aware of its limits. The material is stiff and can handle some abuse, but it's not going to save you from everything.

Is a good idea for people that needs to work in the house to protect their head without being too obvious

The cap is great looking and appears to be of good quality. It fits perfectly and feels like it will provide great protection when I am crawling around in the attic which is why I purchased it.

These look pretty dorky, to me; when wearing these. I have bought two, which I had embroidered. These are the only ones out there. Good for certain situations where you want to protect your head but where a hard hat might look out of place, but not a cap. The black color fades and looks streaked after exposed to water; especially trying to handwash it. The vent rings also look corroded after a while. After the embroidery work, I'm looking at $40 per cap. They get dirty, have sweat stains, I gingerly wash, then they look bad. So, one or two summers and these don't look so good. A regular cap doesn't really fit over the plastic hardware, either. This is mainly a professional concern. If you're just a home guy or blue collar, not really a big issue.

Just received my BBC today , I had my doubts about this cap at first , and now I don''t , this is just what I was looking for , the shell is ridged enough but still lightweight , the hat materiel is nicer then expected , would wear this cap even without the shell in it .OK I've had the cap about a week now , it's comfortable enough , but it does gets hot after awhile , it needs a vent hole at the top of the shell to alleviate the sweating . made my own vent hole , it seems to help a little .update , went to my locale shoe repair shop , had him put a metal grommet, the same type as on the side of the hat , in the top of the hat and what difference it made to stop the sweating .

I was going to use it for curling but does not provide protection to back of head. Most slippage on ice results in back of head hitting ice. This product does not provide that protection as there is no padding in that area
