Great HD Webcam but not Perfect
Larmtek HD USB CameraSo recently picked up a new webcam for my home/office.With the current working from home requirement, I needed something more than the basic built-in laptop camera I currently use.I also didn't want to spend the earth getting a new camera especially as I was predominantly going to use it for work and occasionally streaming. So enter the Larmtek HD USB Webcam I picked this up for less than £25 and was initially impressed with the overall feel and weight of the product.Simply plug and play, correct mounting on to my screen aided by the rubber/foam pads, check a couple of settings and I was away.Initial image quality results in conferences were great and it was easy to see that the 2.1MP lense was more than able to cope.I got 1080p at 30 fps and thanks to the wide-angle lens this captured my whole home office so I can see the benefit of using this camera in a small meeting room.Surprisingly even under low-light conditions, the camera was able to perform admirably so if you're streaming during the evening and don't fancy ring lights glaring into your face you might like this option.Unfortunately, it's not all good however as the audio quality from the built-in microphone is terrible and incredibly muffled, to the point that I would have to be taking right at the camera to get any meaningful results. The only other point of issue is that there isn't a swivel/rotation adjustment to the camera but given the wide-angle lens I see why this isn't present.Despite these shortcomings, there are a couple of really nice features that you wouldn't come to expect on such a budget product. One being the optional pricy cap to cover the camera when not in use. The other is the 1/4 inch tripod adaptor which is a great option if screen mounting isn't for you.So all in all the pro's certainly outweigh the con's, in my opinion, it's just whether the camera is going to fit in with your requirements. For myself I needed added image quality and although the microphone is something to be desired I use a headset or headphones usually with a built-in microphone so it's not an issue. For those that don't and do want to use this in a meeting room, I would ensure you have another microphone input as this just won't cut it.Pro'sUnder £30Solid 1080p 30fps recording/streamingGood wide-angle cameraEasy plug and play installationAdditional privacy cover1/4" Tri-Pod mountCon'sNo camera rotation or swivelAudio recording, not the best and sounds muffled

Great value for money
I'm starting a family gaming YouTube channel with my three kids and needed a wide field of view (FOV) angle in order to fit us all in. Most webcams seem to be around 60-80 degrees but 60 is nowhere near enough (could only fit about 2 comfortably) and I even had my doubts about 80 degrees being enough, so I was hesitant to spend a lot of money without a guaranteed result. I came across this LarmTek camera and noticed that it has a 110 degree FOV, which is huge. Despite seeing a comment saying that this results in a bit of a 'fishbowl' effect, I figured for £23 it was worth a shot as for me getting the whole family in shot is more important than a little bit of a curve.I must admit to being a little skeptical at getting something even halfway decent for the price, but in all honesty I haven't been disappointed. Firstly, the build is pretty solid and doesn't feel flimsy at all. Yes, the wide FOV does result in a little bit of a 'fishbowl' effect but we're all comfortably within the frame. This would probably make this great for videoconferencing with large groups actually. The 1080p video quality is also quite good and it deals with low light better than my previous webcam (a Logitech C270). I initially had some issues with occasional image flickering but the manual states that this could be due to the amount of power supplied via the USB port, so after making sure it was plugged into a USB 3.0 port the flickering disappeared. There was also initially an issue with the microphone recording, which also wasn't working properly (recordings were marred by a loud clicking sound) until plugging into a USB 3.0 port. From that point onward it has worked flawlessly (so far).Overall I'm really quite pleased with this and for the price I feel like it's a pretty good deal. I only marked it down a star due to the initial flickering and mic problems which initially made me wary, but to be fair the manual does adress these issues and the proposed solution worked. I'll be using this for our YouTube videos and if the problems don't return within the next month I'd be happy to update this to 5 stars from a pure value for money perspective.

Not to bad will get you through in most cases.
So I got this Camera as a second view for my streaming and on the whole its a steady purchase. My main camera is a Logitech C920 but at the moment you'll be paying up to £90 for them in some cases. This Camera from Larmtek is only £24 on Amazon and Id say its worth that. The Camera quality is OK, there's a small bit of colour saturation and it feel like my Lens isn't central it seems to be off to one side so I have to put it on the side of the monitor but its not a big deal for me personally. It can be screwed on to a tripod or mount which is a nice feature, the build quality feels quite good, doesn't feel like its going to fall apart and its a sleek design. If you looking for a cheap 1080p camera for simple things this will do the trick, if your looking to be the next Ninja on Twitch I'm afraid your going to have to spend abit more, that said this would do as a stepping stone.

Decent value
This is a 1080p webcam that runs 30 frames per second. The attached wire is a decent length, top marks there.Setup was painless, plug and play basically (Windows 10). It's a wide angle which is useful in some applications. The quality compared with my name brand HD webcam isn't that far off to be honest, certainly not £70s worth of difference that's for sure! Quite impressive in that respect. Main downside seems to be that it's got a focal length that can't be adjusted but for most uses this is not an issue. It has a threaded base plate so it can be mounted to a tripod and has a rubber grip for placing it on top of a monitor.Overall this is a very good value webcam for the price.
