See the time at any time of the night
Oregon makes great projection clocks. After 10 years my former Oregon projection clocks screen faded and I bought this replacement. Projects time on ceiling or wall very well, big numbers, easy to adjust and rotate the display projected on wall. In addition, the time sets from the Atomic clock automatically at night, so your time is always correct.

Works well but stupid manufacture mistake...
Works well but is engineered backwards. You can't set it up to be able to read the actual clock and have it projected on the wall. You have to face the clock towards the wall to be able to read it on the wall. It's fine with me because I don't need to see both but a stupid mistake from when it was manufactured.

Replacement for older model
Had a earlier version in which the temperature projection failed after about 5? years. Could not find a replacement at the time but recently found this model and works as well as the original for me. Short distance to ceiling ( ~4 ft)so projection is sharp and easily readable.

OK, but silly
Absurd is the word that keeps coming to mind when I think about this clock. I bought it to replace another Oregon Scientific clock (RRM968PA ExactSet Projection Clock) that I purchased in 2005. It seems to finally be failing, so I bought another to replace it when it does bite the dust (and I'm happy to report that this old clock seems to have made a comeback). The old clock is metal and although it's not heavy, it does have some weight to it so it won't easily be knocked over should I bump the nightstand. The projected numbers are clear, easy to read, proportionally pleasing, and easy to fine adjust. It also has a radio which I've never used and don't need, but it does the job.The new clock, this TW223, is laughable in comparison. It is plastic, weighs almost nothing, and I doubt it will last even half of the old clock's lifespan. It's as if some marketing person thought it would be a great idea to emulate a smart phone form-factor in a table top clock. The projected numbers are huge, like someone who didn't understand typography just selected a extra bold super wide font (just an example, I'm sure it's not an actual font), and the temperature is an integer, that is, no decimal. Behind the numbers, there is a red background and the whole thing is just way too big and seems silly. I decided to put it back in the box and bring it out once the old clock finally fails. It's not worth the effort to return it.I guess it makes sense to produce a clock like this if one is shooting for an international market, since lightweight means lower shipping costs, but it just feels cheap to me and I think Oregon Scientific has lost lots of respect, in my mind, by producing this kind of low-budget product. But then again, everyone seems to be following this trend. Whenever I replace something that's lasted a long time and that I've been happy with, the replacement is almost always a whole lot worse than the original. Not a good way to retain customers.

Problems
There is no way to turn off the alarm.Even when going throw the setup and switching the alarm icon, the alarm still sounds off and there is no way to stop it, you have to listen to it for the entire two minute cycle. The snooze button will work, but on the fourth and final alarm nothing will stop the alarm, it will sound off for two minutes before stopping.I Emailed customer service but had no response from them what so ever. Hmmm???Twice the time on the clock has frozen up, time remains the same and does not change, have to unplug clock and remove the batteries to reset it.

Projection upside down!
Projection is installed backwards! The time and temp project upside down. I opened up the clock to see if I could reverse the projection but the electronics and wiring don't allow me to. In order to read the projection off the wall next to the clock or on the ceiling I have to turn the clock away from me. I would hope this is a manufacturing defect and not the way it was designed!

this is a great clock and I highly recommend it
I've had an Oregon Scientific projection clock for years now. My old one recently stopped working and I purchased this one to replace it. While this one is very similar to the one I used for years, I do miss the ability to rotate the projected time. It can rotate 180 degrees, but it cannot rotate in any other way. With my old one, I was able to rotate the projection independently of the base. This is not a huge issues, hence still giving it 5 stars. Just a minor complaint that I have about it. Other than this slight issue, this is a great clock and I highly recommend it.

Love, love, love it!
Just a glance up to the ceiling from your bed at night and you easily know the time and room temp. Don't know how I lived without it as I constantly wake at night and want to know the time.
