Razer Holiday Bundle 2018

Really good bang for your buck, I wanted a razer only computer for my basement and chose this bundle since I'm new to razer in general.You really get a lot for what you pay for, quality is excellent and the chroma is beautiful, can't wait for the 2019 Bundle!

I just received my Razer and I installed it right away. It's more comfortable when I play.smooth and classy!

For this price, this was a no brainer. I never expected I would like the mousepad the most. I'm just worried the threads holding the optics in place would break easily but it is lovely. The feel of the keyboard is great, I never used a mechanical keyboard before and it is awesome, especially for a touch-typist like myself. Wish the fn key was on the left side of the spacebar as in most keyboards. I'm using it with a Razer Blade Stealth 2019 model and the fn key on the laptop is on the left side as I expect it to be but it is confusing switching between the two. I wish they made the lock keys change color as does the black widow lite's caps lock key (which turns green when pressed). Also the way the lighting changes when pressing the fn key is distracting and annoying. It should not light the function keys in white, instead it should just turn off the lights of all other keys and keep the same color on the function keys instead.Battery doesn't last as much as advertised, I expected it to last at least 7-8 hours but I don't get more than 4 hours out of it. Which I know will be even worse as it gets older.It is very easy to scratch and the black color makes the scratches very visible.I got the Core V2 with it and expected it to work without a glitch but this wasn't the case. Every time I disconnect the core I have to reinstall the driver for the MX150 onboard as Windows doesn't recognize it any more.The location of the right shift key is horrible and takes a lot of time to get used to. I'm a touch typist and this could be the most annoying thing about it. Also, you don't get the context menu key, usually fn+right ctrl without programming it using Synapse 3.Synapse 3 itself is very buggy and is very annoying having to watch the intro every time my laptop starts.Windows Hello is beautiful, I never expected to like it that much.The trackpad is either very sensitive or doesn't do well recognizing palm. Sometimes both the keyboard and the mousepad just act weird. The keyboard on my Surface Go is way better and the touchpad on my XPS 9350, which is way smaller, is also better. Or at least make it user adjustable.The Synapse 3 is the worst part of the entire experience. I had to go through the intro every time it starts, but that's supposedly fixed now in the latest update, and it consumes too much resources.

I have always heard of Razer products, and I was finally able to get this set (which was a GREAT deal). From the moment I plugged everything in, my gaming setup changed dramatically. The keyboard can pretty much be whatever bundle of colors you want it to be thanks to the Synapse program it's controlled by, and even though the mouse and mousepad only light up a single color, they still compliment the keyboard very well. Also, the mouse and mousepad are the best combo. Haven't had a problem with my mouse since I got it and that's thank to the huge mousepad which also hold your mouse cord so it won't be in your way. The only flaw is sometimes the Synapse problem that seems to randomly mess up and not load from time to time (can be fixed by a simple restart most of the time). Other than that, I think this is the best keyboard, mouse, and mousepad combo for game setups, offices, music studios, etc.
