Works and fits great!
Works great, fits great. Only using it so I can have sentry camera and charge 2 phones at the same time, but knowing there's another usb-c cable hidden inside to charge even more is never a bad thing.

Should have gotten this sooner!
The Model3 has two USB points under the centre console. These are used up as soon as you get a wireless charger but usually they also provide a USB splitter so that you can plug your memory storage for the Tesla Sentry / Dashcam (must have!). However, doing it this way leaves you with a jumble of cables and a hard drive loose inside that console cavity. When I purchased this, i was just hoping to have a more secure area for the SDD to be stored and not fly around that large hole but upon installation i was even more pleased. The hub itself plugs into the car's two USB slots. It fits perfectly and looks OEM. It's own SDD compartment has a short USB-C cable provided (bonus!!) and even a magnetic steel plate to stick onto your SDD so that it can stay still inside that space. The lid then closes over the SDD storage but if you need a hidey hole for something small (ie. spare house key etc), theres still quite a bit of space in there! You now have a clean open space in front of the hub, there are four frontal USB slots, the wireless charger will plug into the two centre for power, I finally have room to store AND plug my game controller in that centre console which plugs into the left most slot.. and there's still a USB-C empty slot for any other accessory or additional charging that you might want! And best of all, my dashcam and sentry is still working flawlessly with everything hooked up. Great buy for a great price.

works well
works well - but I couldn't get SSD solid state Samsung EVO to work without sentry and autopilot problems cropping up intermittently after some time. I tried SSD without the hub and I had similar problems with sentry mode not working after a while and autopilot. Seems a known issue on the early teslas. I'm using a USB thumb drive and no issues. Like others said the USB-C charging is too little output to charge a iphone 15. I do find that this hub keeps it clean and worked well with the Taptes charging pad.

Looks great, feels high quality, but be wary of functionality
I have to say, this thing (like all of TAPTES products) looks and feel VERY high end. They rival other products that charge 2x as much and provide the same functionality. This thing is a fantastic value. My biggest issue is that the USB port that is "inside" the little cabinet (which is the one designed to hold your usb SSD storage) ....doesn't work. At least mine doesn't. If I plug my SSD into that one, I get constant errors that my dashcam won't work due to memory corruption (or it just won't be recognized at all). If I plug my hard drive into the outer USB port labeled data+power, then it works fine. SO, I'm still able to use my dashcam usb drive with this product, but I'm not able to hide it in the storage cabinet like you're supposed to. That USB port is just dead or useless. Even with this issue, it's STILL an improvement over just having 2 USB-A ports, so I still am giving this 4 stars, but just be wary that there may be some trade offs vs the more expensive versions of this product.

Great upgrade for my 2019 Tesla Model 3
It fits really tight. I was afraid I was going to break it or the USB inputs, but it fits exactly. Not super easy to install as a result, but just keep pushing it into place and it will do a great job. I drive rideshare and the extra USB sockets are convenient to power a rideshare sign and two mobile phones, I still have one open. The only drawback was the shelf organizer I bought will not fit right as it was not designed to accomodate the hub thickness.

Easy and perfect all in one!
Fits the shape of the console perfectly. Plugs in with ease, has the hidden pocket for your Dashcam SSD/thumb drive concealed by the magnetic cover, but ALSO has an easily accessible USB-A data+power outlet so you can plug in a wireless dongle for your XBox controller or hard wire it if you want. So you get 2 USB-A data+power outlets, 2 USB-A charge ports and a USB-C charge port for a total of 5 USB ports! Perfect for 2017-2020 Model 3/Y with the Gen 1 console.

Looks stock and functions as expected
The octopus of game controllers, splitters, and music sticks in the sub-basement of my Tesla was confusing and messy. And the mess of cables was the only thing concealing the Dashcam SSD from a techno-savvy thief. Jeda has a solution, but I was embarrassed to pay ~$80 for a USB hub. At $20, the TapTes hit the mark. It was a little tight to install, but popped in with minimal force and two minutes of effort. Now, the SSD is hidden away and I have a free USB port and a new USB C port. Perfect for the Pre-June 2020 Model 3!

Incompatible with Sentry Mode
It looks fantastic, it installs well, it has plenty of USB ports, and the hidden compartment is great. I want to love it, unfortunately it is incompatible with Sentry Mode. If you have Sentry Mode configured to not record at certain locations (e.g. home, office) to preserve your car battery, then the car powers down. For whatever reason once this occurs then your USB SSD/Thumb drive plugged into this Hub does not mount again when the car powers back up. You have to physically unplug the drive from this Hub and plug it back in before the car will recognize it again and enable Sentry Mode. The day after I installed this thing, we went out to dinner and someone hit our door with theirs and put a huge dent in the door. Sentry Mode was inactive because we'd come from home, and I didn't thing to dig into the dashboard to unplug and replug the drive so we have video. Needless to say I'm pissed off.

Fits but had to install
The unit worked, installation difficult I had to supply so much force I feared I would break it. All that is needed is to remove .5 mm off each side and it would be perfect Less chance of damaging usb ports
