Another product worthy of the SHARKK name!
This is my second SHARKK wallet, so it almost goes without saying that I like the design and durability they offer in this RFID blocking wallet. My first one lasted 3 years, and would have lasted longer, had my cat not knocked it off my bathroom vanity. I knew as soon as it happened that I was going to go with another SHARKK. When I saw this one, with the money strap, I didn't hesitate to spend the little extra. Little did I know that the money strap wasn't the only change to the first wallet I had.The actual clasp that holds the wallet closed is much improved and feels much more durable on this one. The previous one was good, and lasted for all 3 years, but it was a little "spring loaded" because of the hinge on the bottom. Over the years, the wallet didn't quite close at the top, but the clasp always grabbed properly, so nothing was falling out. I liked it because it was like a "push button" open and then you just clicked it closed. This new version has a manual clasp that wraps over the top of the wallet. There is no springy hinge and the clasp is flush with the wallet, so this feels solid and like it will last a very long time. The best feature of the elastic money clip is the little rubber strip under the strap. The nature of these aluminum wallets is to be very smooth and slick. They slip in and out of your pocket very easily. If this rubber strip wasn't there, I'm sure your cash would behave the same way. The rubber holds your money in place against the pressure of the elastic strap, and there is even a small piece of material for you to grab when you need to raise the strap. This SHARKK wallet just seems like a very well thought out evolution of the original. I believe they listened to all of the feedback and suggestions made by the users of the previous model, and not only added features to the wallet, but tested them thoroughly in a way to not have to go back to the drawing board when people were unsatisfied with the feature. I'd recommend this to all of my friends looking at purchasing a new wallet!

Great wallet. Sleeves could use some work.
Its a great wallet that does everything I need it to. Its also slimmer than it appears. I don't like big wallets and this works for me. My only gripe is that the sleeves keep tearing. This creates a hazardous situation that can cause a card to fall out when opening the wallet. However, Sharkk was great and has replaced it for me twice already. I am very happy with the product and Sharkk. Four stars because of the sleeves.FYI (I never did this but...)***DON'T PLACE MORE THAN ONE CARD IN EACH SLEEVE***It will destroy the sleeves of the wallet faster than normal. That is what it says in the pamphlet that comes with the wallet.

Better then previous version
The media could not be loaded. I have been using previous version of Sharkk wallet SHARKK Black Aluminum Wallet Credit Card Holder made by SHARKK Brands Black for 4 yeas and loved it. Couple of month ago sides of middle pocket ripped apart but it still holds card. Still I decided to replace it. So my review is more comparison of previous and new versions and my experience of using it.First - Why you need such wallet: soft wallets bend in pocket and with it ID and bank cards also bend. These small bending after some time damage RFID antenna coil. Also it depends on activity and movements but there is chance to break cards if you press against corner of wall or chair with wallet in your pocket. Such hard shell wallets protect cards perfectly for years. Plus guaranteed RFID protection. In a pocket: Old one was too sleek and depending on trousers material/style and way you sit, it might slip out from pocket. It happened couple of times when I sat in sport car and in shaky bus. New wallet has some plastic details on either side and non-glossy paint so it is less likely to slip out from pocket. Tested new wallet with same trousers and car and it stayed in the pocket. (Could not find the same bus, sorry). Adding money behind elastic band helps even more against this problem. From photos you can see that it is slightly bigger then old version, but difference is very small. There are slimmer versions of hard shell wallets from other brands, and I tried one before returning to Sharkk. Those slim wallets usually are either too slick and easily slip out from pocket, or they have sharp corners and after some time make holes in your pocket or have very simple button sticking out high and tend to open accidentally. Mine had all these problems, plus held less cards and they fit so tight that it was hard to remove/insert them. So I returned to Sharkk.Open/Close: previous model required you to push the button to open. That button was slightly above the surface and sometimes other items in my pocket were opening it. So I tend to not put anything in the same pocket. On the other hand it was possible to open wallet with one hand. I do not show it in the video but I was also able to take one card out from the wallet with same hand. This was very useful because I was able to do all payment actions with one hand. On new model you have that clip which makes it impossible to accidentally open in pocket, but now it is hard to open wallet with one hand. See video. This is not huge problem at all, but still I'd be happier if it worked same way. Any way most of you, most of the time use both hand when opening your wallet.Overall I am very happy with new wallet and absolutely recommend it. I have been using this wallet for one week now and no problems at all. Hope this one will also last another 4+ years.p.s. video is not there to show that this wallet is bad or has any problem. It is there for designers of next versions to think about one hand operation possibilities. Also it would be great to have small attachment ring or something like that. I would attach short strap so that it would sit in the pocket but at same time would be attached to retractable key reel on my belt. That would reduce chances of loosing the wallet.p.s.s. nobody asked or paid or promised any benefits for making this review.

Cheap Plastic Clasp
The wallet shell is really nice and very rugged. The only flaw is the cheap plastic clasp that holds the wallet closed. I have had two of these wallets and both times the plastic clasp has shattered when I dropped it while trying to place it in my pocket. When the clasp it broken the wallet is useless. If this wallet was designed and manufactured with a thicker and more rugged clasp to match the rest of the wallet, I would give it 5 stars.

Portafoglio sharkk alluminio

Great Wallet, Easily the best wallet I've ever owned, so much so, I bought 2 so I had a spare
Have just ordered this wallet for the 2nd time. the first time I purchased it, it was £17.... Now its £40That in itself says how much I like this wallet. Only reason it doesn't get 5* is the cost.I started on the Anti-RFID Scanning wallets after our house got broken into and I needed a new wallet. The first was a "pop-shut" type one but when you over fill it, it wont close. When I saw the SHARKK one advertised, I liked that it had a snap shut clasp and that it had a cash band on the outside for notes. When you have a wallet like this, you have to declutter what you carry, you can't overfill it or it will break the plastic clasp that holds it shut, hence the reason I bought a replacement. I don't actually need it yet but its only a matter of time so I have bought it as a standby spare. The SHARKK is an fantastic wallet. You can tell by the feel that its solidly built, nothing flimsy here !!Details state that it fits 7 cards, in reality it holds much more.... In mine I have....x2 packs of stamps, first aid card, driving licence, wallet ninja tool, Shell Drivers Club points card, Debit Card, Argos Voucher, x4 Credit Cards, American Express Card. (11 cards inside in total)The elastic strap is a cash strap which I co use for that purpose but I also use it for cards that have no RFID chip like Gym Membership, Costco Cards and various Loyalty cards.Apart from de-cluttering, I would advise that you keep it under filled so in the event you want to put some cash "inside" the wallet, you have some room. It will never hold a massive wodge of cash but will take 3-4 £20 notes quite easily with a varying selection of cards.I the main reason I opted for the SHARKK over other wallets is the RFID shielding. After reports of individuals roaming around with portable card scanning machines, you can essentially be pick pocketed without ever knowing it. Not seen any evidence that these wallets actually work, other than trying myself to pay for something contactless with the card still inside and it not working so that does give me some confidence at least.A very well made product which all my cards safe, doesn't take up much room and has exceeded expectations.I would definitely recommend for the security conscious or even those looking to reduce the size of their wallet
