This is a fantastic iron, light weight, easy to use and really good results. I previously had a tower cordless which I loved but I broke the case off the water reservoir by dropping it when iron stuck on stand. This iron so far is so much easier to remove and replace in cordless mode. Heats up well and you can control heat and steam in various way. I have joint/mobility issues and this makes ironing so much easier for me with no heavy equipment to move about or lead to catch on ironing board. Only drawback is it swivels a bit in stand due to being round but apart from that I’d highly recommend giving this a try.

Excellent iron, heats up very quickly and stays warm even with the steam setting on if you return it to the base every time you move what you're ironing which is good practice as you'll be less likely to burn the end of your board! Base is far too light though and often moves when you pick the iron up, I know this is so it doesn't make the iron too heavy if you decide to lock the base on the back of the iron and use it plugged in but if you wanted a corded iron you wouldn't be paying extra for a cordless one! Should've come with a clamp for attaching the base to the end of the board or something. I've opened the base and stuck two lead strips in mine which has vastly improved functionality! There are four triwing screws, one under each rubber foot which plug back in the holes very nicely when you're done. All the internal wiring was very neatly sheathed but still unplug before opening! You wouldn't know I'd done anything except the base now stays put when I pick up the iron. The other option was gaffer taping it to the end of the board which wouldn't void the warranty but the internal weights are much neater! Can't give five stars to something that needs tweaking from new although with the weights in it is a five star iron.

Good little iron works efficiently and is light and easy to use. Only problem for me is the detachable base as it’s wireless. I forgot to check this when I ordered as I didn’t want it wireless so permanently use it with the base attached. Therefore, the iron is difficult to use, mainly as the base swings around and gets in the way. Anyway, the irons good and does what an iron should do very well, I should have checked my order first!

This iron heats up quickly and for single items it's good but once off the base cools down quite quickly so you have to keep putting it back on to get it hot again for denims or thick cottons my plug in wins . Cordless is good steams ok small enough to pack on holidays so lots of upsides to this iron .

Amazing iron

I like this. As a lefty, I always struggle with cables. However, this is simple and works well. The caveats I have: 1. You do need to regulary "charge" it. Not a big deal - put it on the charging plate when you turn over an item etc. Very quick charge. 2. Getting the iron on the charging plate can be really fiddly. I have no idea why but I struggle a lot! Much easier with the kettle, that has the same basic method of operation.

The iron is easily detached from the power base, and remains hot long enough to do a pillowcase or the front of a shirt. You put it back on the base while you adjust the garment, so going cold hasn't been a problem for me. The markings on the temperature control are hard to read -- colours chosen for appearance rather than utility! The only issue I've had is that it's easy to knock the base off the ironing board if you're careless. For a long job, you can lock the base to the iron, but then you lose the cord-free benefit.

I recently purchased this iron, and unfortunately, I'm extremely disappointed with its performance. The thermostat seems to have a mind of its own, as it doesn't effectively control the heat. The maximum heat I can achieve is far below what's considered normal, making ironing a tedious task. Surprisingly, my old iron, which is 7 years old, performs much better than this newer one. I expected an upgrade, but sadly, this iron falls short in functionality and temperature control.
