Team A.L.P.H.A. Books 1-4: Team ALPHA Bundle, Book 1

The Story and writing are five stars but the narration didn't work for me.GRABBED4.75 stars! These two have some serious issues to deal with. Preston has huge wounds caused by his father but my lord the guy is a prima donna. There is a lack of maturity but faced with impending fatherhood he rises high in my opinion of him. Noah may be the leader of his squad of elite soldiers, but the man is thicker than a fence post when it comes to being a mate. What makes it even more astounding is his parents are fantastic examples that he should be following. I adored Noah's parents. The way they accepted Preston with open arms and supported him in a way he has never known was beautiful.TAKEN4.5 stars for the second book in the series. Cody's life has been one of horror for the last six years. His inner strength is amazing and I liked seeing him blossom. Levi is the sniper in the group of Alphas and has the strength and determination to be whatever his mate needs. He also has a softer side and a need to give up all that strength to his mate. I loved how all the guys give Cody the family he needs to help him through his recovery.STRUCKDavid has a bit of bad luck but it brings him to Boomer. I loved how Boomer and his family welcome him as their own. Boomer doesn't find the same open arms as David's brothers make his life very uncomfortable. I wanted to smack Ezra and Zeke repeatedly. The story was mostly sweet and low angst with a feeling of warmth and family.HACKEDPax is fierce, independent, brilliant, and scared to death of letting anyone get too close. Zeke is trying hard but his bristly mate isn't having any of his alpha nonsense. It was great to see that both of the twins have to work at gaining their mate's trust after all the harassment they gave Boomer.Highly recommended author and seriesWhile both of the narrators were clear I was not a fan of Collin Darcy.

Team A.L.P.H.A. is a seven book omegaverse series revolving around the six Alpha wolf shifters who are the active members of Team A.L.P.H.A., a government sanctioned mercenary group. The entire series has been bundled into two volumes which include bonus epilogues. The first bundle contains books 1 -4 and introduces us to Team A.L.P.H.A. and the zany, dangerous wolf shifters who have made it their lives’ mission to save shifters from being enslaved and oppressed. The books all focus on a different member of the team finding their mate, with an overreaching plot that ties all the books together.First, a few notes and observations on these books – this series is not for everyone. Each book has violence, sex, and mpreg while featuring different tropes and themes. The storylines and over arching series plot reminds me of some action thriller Hollywood movie – meaning, there’s a lot of explosive and over-the-top action scenes with very little regard to actual military or battle tactics. To put it bluntly, the action scenes are not realistic, but they aren’t meant to be. They are meant to be extreme to the point of pure entertainment, which the authors pull off very well. The entire series has a superhero comic book/movie vibe – cool action scenes for the sake of cool actions scenes. Once I stopped dissecting each scene and just let myself ENJOY what was happening, I found myself completely engrossed in the series.The biggest strengths of these books are the humor and romances between the characters. Each book features an alpha finding his true mate and the development of that relationship from practically strangers to a loving family. Each book features mpreg with detailed pregnancy and some birth scenes (plus hot sex!). Banter and humor runs rampant throughout all the books, and is one of the defining features of these series. Team A.L.P.H.A. jokes about EVERYTHING and it is hilarious.The first Team A.L.P.H.A. books are narrated by Peter B. Brooke and Colin Darcy with a special guest appearance from John Solo. The production of this audiobook is well done with no outside noises or glitches. I enjoyed the dual narration between Peter and Colin, and LOVED John’s surprise appearance. Overall, this was a well done and well narrated audiobook and a steal since you get four books for the price of one…PLUS the epilogues.The books the books themselves range from 3 stars to 4 stars, with the overall bundle getting a solid 4 stars from me. I recommend these books to anyone who likes omegaverse and wants something with action, humor, fluff, and romance.

Loved the banter & chemistry between the main characters as well as the supporting characters from previous novels! Great series loved the theme & writing style was fast paced & sexy with sweet thrown in best combo! No spelling or grammar errors so that’s always a plus lol definitely recommend this box set & be reading others by these authors!

I love this series! I can read it over and over again and never get bored of it!!!! On to the next!!!

The first four books of this series exceeded all expectations in terms of action, adventure, violence, big strong Alphas, rescued Omegas, Wolves, and shifter haters along with laugh out loud storylines to balance the seriousness of what the squad was combating - sex traffickers and drug cartels.I enjoyed the Epilogues for each of the books, though the one book I gave the lowest rating to I felt the same way about it's Epilogue. I would have down graded this one based on internal inconsistencies and occasional grammatical errors. But that doesn’t even hold a candle to my real issue here.If you replaced alpha/omega with male/female, this bundle would be torn apart for being sexist almost to the point of misogynistic. Every omega is shown as damaged, broken, and/or plagued with no self esteem until the alpha ‘fixes’ them. The alphas come across as a-holes who are excused and forgiven for everything.Way below par for these authors.

A good easy read series. The story for book one was good and set a good tone, however, for the subsequent books after the initial drama the beginning they are very much just romance and baby popping. The only real complaint however is how one of the best characters, who is feisty and independent, is all too quickly broken down and squashed into the same 'hormonal, mated and pregnant' role just like all the rest.Overall its worth a read if your looking for uncomplicated, easy going romance books.

I eagerly waited for each new story in this series as part of my kindle unlimited subscription. I loved this series from the very first book. The idea of a special team of alphas that sought to work to protect and save others started out as a “sweet” concept but half way through the first story you can’t help but fall for each of the members and their unique personalities. Each story focuses on an individual Alpha in the team and how they find their fated mate. As the stories progress they intertwine with each other. I think the only way to read them is one after the other and having them as a set certainly helps.I think I bought this set the day they came out despite having already rad them because I had to have them in my collection and am already planning a weekend to be able to read the whole series again.

What a great series, and even easier to download and read in the box set. I couldn't help but love the characters, their mates, and the antics they all got up to. The storylines flowed well, and were fun to read. The only issue I had were the few typos and editing mistakes that appeared throughout. Otherwise a great read. I look forward to reading the 2nd box set to complete the series.

To much 'Male Locker Room Smack' Soooooo not funny!! Guys yucking it up!!! Just couldn't get past the first book.....Rolled my eyes too many times!!! Could have been a great story just tone down the testosterone a bit Ladies!! I felt like there where holes in the story because the male smack became the focus as opposed to the details.......How do wolves carry packs with firearms & explosive across 15 miles of snow? I'm not a writer, I'm a reader & a story has to flow...And what are feebs....

Great series. I love the different characters and how they act toward each other. They are really a great family, filled with love. They are kind and strong and fierce. I like it, that hey want to rescue people from 'bad' people. Highly recommended.
