GREAT !! EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH IT !!
FOR THOSE NEGATIVE REVIEWERS... THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR, I'LL GIVE YOU THAT - BUT - ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS READ AHEAD... YOU'LL BE CONFUSED AS TO THE RED SIDE AND BLUE SIDE - UP OR DOWN - LEFT OR RIGHT - SO, LOOK AT THE LAST PAGES AND YOU'LL SEE THAT ONE SIDE SIMPLY HAS MORE HOLES IN IT THAN THE OTHER AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM BECAUSE THERES AN EXTRA HOLE FOR THE WOODEN DOWEL FOR STURDINESS. KNOWING THIS WILL ANSWER ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS WHEN BUILDING THIS. YES, IT'S TIME CONSUMING DUE TO MANY STEPS AND ALL THE SHELVES, BUT IT'S SIMPLE AND IT ENDS UP REALLY NICE, WORKS GREAT, SPINS FREELY AND IS TRUE TO SIZE. MY ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE SHELF CLIPS SHOULD BE METAL, NOT PLASTIC AS PLASTIC WHEN OVERSIZED TO FIT INTO A HOLE TIGHTLY, TENDS TO STICK A LITTLE, SO THESE THINGS ARE A REAL PAIN IN THE FINGERS TO PUSH IN AND THERE'S LOTTSA THEM ! THEY SAY DON'T BANG THEM IN, WELL, YOU NEED TO BANG THEM IN, JUST BE GENTLE WITH THE HITTING BECAUSE WHAT THEY MEAN IS THAT IF YOU BANG THEM AND THEY'RE CROOKED, HALFWAY IN, HALFWAY OUT AND SIDEWAYS JUST A LITTLE, BEING CHEAP CRAPPY PLASTIC, THEY'LL SNAP ! SO YOU STILL NEED TO PUSH THEM IN AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND THEN GIVE EM A BUNCH OF TINY LITTLE HITS TO GET THEM TO SEAT FLAT. I'D SAY 8 OUT OF EVERY 10 NEED TO BE SMACKED IN. BUT IF THEY WERE MADE OF METAL YOU'D BE ABLE TO SLIP THEM RIGHT IN THE WOODEN HOLES DUE TO THE SMOOTHNESS OF METAL VERSUS THE EXPANSION OF PLASTICS.

Love it - with DYI initial assembly part upgrade/modification
Just assembled and loaded full with DVDs. (Not an over time longevity review). Inspected all parts before assembly - did not want to find issues that would require return while half or fully assembles. All parts seemed ok. I would recommend checking all the shelf hardware holes prior to assembly. After assembly I found several holes that were not quite the diameter for the shelf hardware. Once assembled I could not get my drill positioned to hit them for the correct diameter. I was able to force the plastic pegs in the holes but would have been nicer to hit them with a quick drill before assembly. This was only an issue for holes on the thin larger sides that had holes. Researched before buying and was not confident in the plastic lazy susan piece that came with the unit would hold up over time. For $17 I ordered a 12" Shepard lazy susan -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004YOKA?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Fairly easy to lay out and mark the metal lazy susan for installation. Required 8 pilot holes - and 1 large hole to access 4 of those 8 pilot holes (followed a you tube video for how-to). Easy assembly - not complex and not a lot of parts. Did the lazy susan one evening and top/bottom prep 1st evening; assembled some of the insides the next morning before work; Completed assembly that evening after work. Looks great. Works great. Exactly what we needed to store a bunch of DVDs in a small space in the living room. Con - I thought the price was a little high - but it was the only thing like it I could find in a cherry wood finish. I do recommend the product - especially with the lazy susan modification. It may be fine with the original part - I just wanted to be proactive from the beginning. I did not want to have to "fix" this piece in a few years. Hope this helps.

Good with an adjustment
It's a decent piece for the price. Replaced the plastic lazy Susan wheel for a metal one per other reviews. This was important because it wouldn't have lasted long spinning on the plastic. Came together easily. Didn't come with all the shelves and took about 4 messages to get a response but when I did, the shelves were shipped quickly. It does not hold as many dvds as they say and one dvd per shelf is mostly hidden but it still holds a lot and looks very nice. I'd recommend this but replace the lazy Susan.

Awesome media storage tower!!!
Folks, this item is the 'Big Kahuna' if you are looking for large capacity media storage! The revolving tower is almost 6 feet tall, and can store over 1000 CDs or over 650 DVDs/ video games.. Assembly is pretty easy, though it really does go easier if you have a helper! It 'may seem' a little flimsy as you assemble it, but once you have the 'top piece' secured, the tower is much sturdier, and becomes even more sturdy once you install the shelves and add your CDs / DVDs!!! NOTE - The shelves are adjustible , so you can choose to 'mix and match' what media you want to store!!! This media tower is a great value for the money they ask! I plan on purchasing at least one more, and maybe even two! FIVE STARS!!!

Practical solution for DVD, Blu-Ray and VHS tape storage. Holds A LOT of medai!
This is a fantastic solution if space in your home theater or media room is limitted. This unit will store A LOT of DVD's, Blu-Rays, CD's and even video tapes. It can also be used in craft rooms to store sewing or scrapbooking items. This would also be very pratical in libraries or shops that loan or sell media. The unit arrives in two boxes; one large, rectangular box, and one square-shaped box. The boxes aren't labeled. When opening the square box, use caution, as the shelves might just dump out all over the place. Per the recommendation of other reviewers, I decided to order a 3rd party Lazy Susan for this storage tower, and I am very glad I did. The lazy susan which comes with the product is made of plastic, is very thin and flimsy, and while it might suffice for a little while, once the tower is fully loaded, it's going to wear out quickly. DEFINITELY get a 3rd party lazy susan for this!! I recommend either the 12" lazy susan from Shepherd, or the one from Woodpeckers. The boxes the unit arrives in are quite heavy, about 50 pounds in total I believe, but I was able to muscle them downstairs to my media room by myself. The included instructions were pretty easy to follow. It took me about an hour to assemble the unit. (It actually took me longer to sort out an alphabetize my media collection than it did to put the unit together!). I recorded the assembly process and posted it on YouTube for any who may be interested. I recommend, once you have the lazy susan mounted, the walls installed with the "L" brackets, the cams and bolts in place, that you place the base (pieces B and C) on the floor in the location where you want the unit to go, and then assemble the unit in place. This way you don't need to move the unit into place later. (It's quite heavy!) Also, you'll want to allow at least 5 inches all the way around the unit so that there will be enough clearance for it to rotate. Once the pieces were ready to assemble, it went very quickly. Simply stand the walls in place and tighten the cams, then insert the cam covers. Insert the shelf brackets, arranging the height of the shelves to your liking. Depending on how you decide to arrange the shelves, you may have some shelves left over. I doubled-up a few of my shelves with the leftover pieces. That way, if I decide to re-arrange the shelves later, I don't have to hunt for them. The assembled unit looks and works great! With the 3rd party lazy susan, it rotates very smoothly, and I'm confident it will give me years of use. YES the unit is a bit pricey, but I believe it's worth it, considering how much storage space it provides.

Disappointment
Directions for assembly were not super clear but was able to figure it out. When empty, I could barley touch it and the whole things rocks back and forth. The dimensions as stated are also not correct. When turned at a 45 degree angle, you will need about 30in and not that the 23-24in as listed. Since I don't have a big area to place this, it will not fit without some major furniture which I did not want to do. The quality of the device doe not match what you pay for it. Overall not happy and disappointed with the buy. My mistake was waiting to put it together after I bought it so its too late for a refund. I advise buying elsewhere

This is awesome!!
I love this stand!! It was a breeze to assemble and with the easy to understand instructions I made no mistakes! I read the reviews and was expecting issues but nope all went well. The only simple thing was the shelf placement for DVDS was off by one I noticed the spacing and adjusted. Could’ve been something I did but it’s so nice and already assembled It really didn’t matter. I’m so happy to use my new rack, I can place it in my living room and have access to them much easier! I needed 2 eye sore stands before!!

Perfect For Any Media Collector
I've had this one for a couple of years now and it's been perfect for keeping my growing physical movie collection organized. I have a mixture of DVDs, Blu-rays, and a few box sets totaling six hundred give or take. But regardless of the media format you use it comes with extra shelf panels and pegs. So you can easily adjust to store whatever kind of physical media to get the maximum use out of the space provided. The fact that it revolves is the main reason why I picked it because it also makes accessing my movies easier. Depending on how you assemble it, it shouldn't spin too quickly or wobble. It also hasn't started showing any wear and tear or even bending on the shelves. But I haven't placed anything heavier than a 128-Disc box set on them so I can't speak to how much weight each shelf can hold. But overall, I would recommend this to anyone for their storage/display needs.

Don't Buy This Garbage
This would be good if it was made out of something other than cardboard. I wasn't even able to use it b/c it broke during assembly. It just disintegrates when any force is put on any part in the wrong direction. Never seen something so flimsy--and for over $600 it's just a complete rip-off. Had I known how cheaply made it was I wouldn't have paid more than $49.99 for it. Seriously. This is a just plain garbage a premium.
