52400 Portable Misting Tower

I bought this because of the incredible heat in my back yard and wanted something where I could lay on the lounger and have the cold mist help cool me off. It works great and is adjustable height so you can adjust it to different heights depending on where you are sitting. Very fine mist and I may buy another just for my husband.

My daughter loves to play outside during the brutal Arizona summer heat. While installing a full misting system would be great, I was unwilling to do so. This mister is great for providing relief in a SMALL area...it won't cover the entire yard. I wish it was a bit taller, but for the price, it does the job well.

Good for watering plants but not much else. Misting coverage area is very minimal and height is minimal. Not designed to provide cooling effect unless it's right on top of you.

This is cheap. We know this, just look at the price compared to others. But it misted well...to start. Some of the nozzles now spray instead of mist, but overall it is a cheap mister and what is expected. The top piece screws into the shaft, which you can adjust the height. There is nearly no leak in the connection with the hose, the shaft, or even the top nozzle portion.However all is not well....the piece the nozzle bar screws into is NOT permanent. This is literally a metal tube with a metal sleeve with the ability to screw the nozzle bar into.....the slightest bump while this is running, or turn the hose on to even half, and POP goes the top, soaking everyone and everything around it.You can only slide it back on and start over. I need a way to attach it permanently, but most epoxies and glues do not adhere to both objects, and to weld it would create leaks in the thin aluminium.Overall it is a decent product for the price when compared to other like items, but directly...just make your own or buy better. You have $5 in hardware being assembled and sold for ...how much?

I love this product. I have always liked misting products and own quite a variety of them but this is my favorite. It is so simple and yet gives plenty of mist. The set up is so simple compared to stringing the lines required for some misting products and it covers a rather substantial area.It is height adjustable and easy to point in any direction. It does have a tendency to leak at the hose connection but I've experienced the same problem with many other products and the ease of set up and portability of this product outweigh the small leak.

We purchased two of these misters, and they do a good job. The nozzles have a tendency to get stopped up, but soaking in CLR cleans them pretty good. We will be ordering a filter for them. Brass fittings would probably be an improvement. The plastic ones tend to leak if not re-tightened when the units are moved. The birds really like them too.

spend the extra buck for a better product. didnt want to spend the extra cash to return it so just took a lost on the purchase!
