Modern Trader Print Magazine

I had a free subscription to this magazine for years. Last year (2018) I finally had to start paying for a subscription. I received maybe three magazines for the whole year. I believe this magazine has gone under and is no longer available.

Having been a reader since the original Commodities Magazine (1972) and continuing through the lengthy FUTURES magazine phase, I was always happy with the industry insights and occasional digression into other topics. But since AlphaPages transformed it into a world class Alt Investment periodical in 2015 it has improved beyond anything a simple industry rag focused only on markets and trading techniques might achieve.The monthly features are exceptionally well-thought and well-written on such a broad range of topics, and the additional monthly departments have expanded beyond anything a simple derivatives industry magazine can offer. It is indeed an essential guide for those either in the markets who desire broader scope, or those who view the markets from outside who would like more compelling insights. Kudos to the AlphaPages team on the impressive evolution of this venerable industry standard.

Haven't received a magazine in months.Last I received was shredded and I talked to the CEO and they got me a replacement but haven'tseen a issue since . Looks like they went under...

Modern Trader takes time to do explore three areas that are lost in other publications. First, consider a trend or issue from multiple trading and investing styles - in contrast to others using only a single school of charting, quant methods or fundamentals. Second, explore causes beyond sound bite solutions so a reader can consider how those causes might refine her or his own model and thesis. Third, actually dig into data, beyond superficial prices or econ news releases. Add to this the custom artwork on many of their covers and the publication is quality train-reading.

The new Modern Trader Magazine is great, I would describe it as the Fast Company for investment related ideas. The updates to the design and content have greatly improved the readability and ability to drive an investor or a financial advisor to interesting investment ideas, strategies and tools. I highly recommend it.

Modern Trade . Formally Commodities is a classic! It has broken many of the biggest trading trends in history and is a must read for all commodity and futures traders! I am proud to be a contributor to this great publication!

I read Modern Trader regularly as they cover financial topics other publications miss. They also go deep...very little fluff.
