Good Overview
Good overview of the Blackfeet as it relates to what happened when America was being colonized up to today. A quick read as well.

Stimulating! Created Pathways to Many Other Interesting Subject Matters Which Was an Added Bonus
Thoroughly enjoyed reading about the Blackfoot heritage, buffalo jumps as preserved at 'Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site', the all too obscure Marias Massacre and more. Book also pushed me to add to my knowledge about the founding of the Missouri Fur Company, the incredible life or death escape by John Colter as well as the remarkable prints made by Karl Bodmer. Photos/illustrations included in book added to the overall experience and hoping one day to make it out one day to the North American Indian Days in Browning, Montana if at all possible as clued in to by the book. Great read as for me and I do recommend!

An excellent summary of the four Blackfeet tribes
As it is a summary of many historical books and writings on the known history of the Blackfeet, it is excellent. Importantly, many original sources are listed for more in depth perspectives if desired.

I was pleased with the book
I was pleased with the book. It was a present for my son. We are members of the Blackfeet tribe and I thought he should have them. He was very happy with them, so I think I made good choices.

Chapter 1 x2
The first chapter was printed twice but other than that no complaints.
