EagleBrewing FE612 Stopper Thermowell

I own a Spike Flex fermenter and a InkBird PID and this fits perfectly for both. I am very pleased

Warning!!!! Inspect the unit! After sanitizing it by soaking it in Star-San I placed it into my Carboy. After about 10 hrs I saw bubbles coming out of the thermometer well. I removed it thinking it was the seal with the stopper. It was not. The end is pinched with a solder or weld. THE WELD WAS INCOMPLETE!!! Liquid was coming out. This product may have infected my five gallon batch. In about six weeks I will find out. I hope the replacement works properly.

Many of the reviews say that this will fit the big mouth bubble, IT DOESN'T!I guess I should have done better research to see what the number size means.

The thermowell and stopper are assembled backward, such that the stopper is upside down and won't fit the carboy correctly. I've returned for a refund.

Item works great, but make sure you read the size of the stopper. It is a #6.5, so I find it hard to believe that it will fit many 5 or 6 gallon carboys, definitely did not fit mine. I modified the lid on my fermentation bucket to accommodate this stopper and was pleased with the outcome.

Didnt fit my thermometer and was to long for my 7.5 gallon wide bucket. But i made it work and it is doing great. I have a love controller box. Need a different probe to make it work

Fits the inkbird i bought and fits my Blichmann fermenator top so win win for me.

Probably going to have issues getting this into any grommet hole (too small). It does fit the inkbird. Also it is not a spear, it looks like a flat pinch TIG welded and sanded just enough. It is a good length at least.
