The meter is handy and come with a handy little case - those that simply wraps the leads around their multimeters will appreciate this! Unfortunately doesn't do DC current but does do pretty much everything else a multimeter should. For finer jobs and small electronics i'd suggest getting needle probes, the included ones are good for nortmal jobs ie cars, house etc

The auto ranging facility is very useful - no messing about changing ranges.Test leads are safely designed but rather inflexible.Instruction leaflet / manual is pretty basic and very small print - requires use of a magnifying glass, although on reporting this to ASTRO they very promptly emailed a link to download a full size printable version.No mention of a fuse replacement - I assume it will be required if it is overloaded.Apart from these items I would have given it 5 stars.

I needed a meter to find a fault so this is not something I am going to use daily and so I looked for the cheapest meter. This is great value is came with batteries pre installed and worked out the box. I would say the plastic wasn't the best but at this price point to does the job, the readings appear to be accurate and is easy to use. It comes with a soft sided zip case.All round is a great, simple and easy to use meter, and is great value. I would recommend this clamp meter

Wanted this as a cheap meter for my campervan. Only really interested in the DC functions although I now see this is probably better suited for an AC function. Anyway, when set to measure DC voltage it reads 12.4 with nothing connected. There is no zeroise function so completely useless for my needs. Returned immediately the same day.

Great versatility. I am only an amateur with this but it is easier to use with the handle and does all the usual electrical check tricks required of it so l am happy to recommend it.

I don't know what to say as the dial snapped off when I took it out of the package and turned it once. It was the fastest return that I have ever done.

Very cheap and works really well. Only used the clampmeter to test phase current so can't comment on other functions. I guess if you’re a professional, you’d use a Fluke etc.This is ok for home use

little small but good for tight spaces ...packed well and arrived when said ....the loop testing seems not to be as fine turned as the probes are there is a few volts out ....good tool for a hobbyist
