Doesn't use existing factory mounting holes in pinch weld for proper support, Instead N-Fab expects installer to drill new holes above existing holes on the inside of the thin under body metal which according to the RAM dealer shop, is only for stabilization of factory steps, the part that supports the weight is the pinch weld that these do not use so they flex and pop when driving or when stepped on, in addition the main tube ends (all four) are completely open allowing mud and water to collect inside main tube to rust.

Bottom line, Refund administered , I'm satisfied. N-Fab Nerf Step Bars seem well made but the size of the company and amount of orders must be overwhelming. With that in mind, my order was for textured black 3 step per side wheel to wheel (N-Fab D10110MC-6-TX). What arrived was a gloss black and when they arrived the box was obviously torn from handling. From the pictures online the product appeared to have a radius bend toward the cab front and rear. The back end of the steps don't have a radius but are straight cut with a plastic plug. I think it odd to have one end plugged and the other end open at the front. I would prefer they both be open or closed to facilitate drying and prevent rusting. They are a robust product shipping weight 80lbs I guess the shipping company that was subcontracted to deliver was unhappy with the weight as well. They do come in a cardboard box with plenty of bubble wrap and are fully plastic wrapped inside as well so they must have dropped them in shipping from some height to break through all the protection. I will be installing them very soon and will let you know how that goes. Here's to a uneventful install!!!!!!!!Installation was simple with minimal tools required, possible one man install, using something to hold up the opposite end while getting the bolts started. The directions were easy to understand as well. I didn't have to drill any holes, they were there already.

My vehicle-2016 Ram 2500 megacab cummins. Decent nerf bar for the price. Was under the impression that it was a bolt on kit however two holes do need to be drilled per instructions. Went to the nfab site to confirm that this part number D10110MC-6-TX was the correct step for the megacab bed access. The bar does not reach the rear wheel well which provides an awkward step for bed access. Easy installation took about 35 minutes with a helper. As prevously mentioned the front of the bar is open which could allow debris inside and for some reason the rear is capped. Would I buy again? Probably not.

easy install. i did these by my self, I'm certain it would've even been easier with someone to help however it can be done. the slots are plenty wide at the mounting locations for the bolts and washers, makes for easy install but the washer seem to crush into the slot more than i expected with only 20ft lbs of torque. they are holding strong, but i may put in some heavier washers including lock washers in the future.During the first couple hundred miles I did notice them squeaking while driving down the road, I have not heard it for some time. i thought i might have to put some sort of gasket between the mounting points for they are metal to metal, but if the squeak is gone i wont mess with it.They do have vertical adjustment which i was happy about because of the running lights i have going down my rocker panel, however there isn't any horizontally. I'm running 35x12.50 tires with a full 2" lift front and rear and the tires have plenty of clearance.All in all im happy with them for they are AMERICAN built, quality does look extremely well, and they feel very durable standing on them especially for how long they are.

ITEM HAD A FEW VERY SMALL PAINT IMPERFECTIONS AND SOME DRILLING WAS REQUIRED. HAD TO BUY 90 DEGREE ANGLE AIR DRILL TO GET TO THE LOCATION REQUIRED. FITMENT WAS GOOD. FRONT MUD FLAPS MAY HAVE A PROBLEM FITTING WITH THESE ON RAM 2500 DEPENDING ON STYLE(ONLY 3/4 TO 1 INCH OF CLEARANCE). I ADDED LOCK WASHERS TO THE HARDWARE. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE PHOTOCOPIES OF LITTLE BLACK AND WHITE PICTURES. HAD TO CRAWL UNDER TRUCK SEVERAL TIMES WHILE READING AND SQUINTING AT THE POOR RESOLUTION PICTURES. PRODUCT WAS WELL MADE, JUST WISH IT HAD BETTER PICTURES ON THE INSTRUCTIONS AND 1 INCH SHORTER IN FRONT FOR MUDFLAP CLEARANCE WITHOUT MODIFICATIONS. STEPS ARE SOLID AND LOOK GOOD. USED 2 FLOOR JACKS TO LIFT UP AND THEN BOLT IN BUT CAN BE DONE WITHOUT THE JACKS.

Man I shopped all over looking for the right steps and bought these,I LOVE THEM,they where VERY EASY to install (you might have to bend a bracket to line up but that was easy to do,They look great ,super solid,I love the black due to now water stains.Highly recommend these,price might seem a bit high but so worth the extra money.You will love them.

Shopped quite a bit for nerf steps before landing on the N-Fab textured black. Very happy with the decision. Product arrived without any damage despite the bulky size and quality is what was expected. Install was a breeze - it required no drilling on my 2016 Ram 2500. Bolted right now, torqued the bolts and away we go. Well done N-Fab, very satisfied.

Had to ship them to a frieght forwarder since I live in Alaska and they won't ship here normally. Once they got here they installed easily in about 20 mins using existing holes under my 2017 Ram Power Wagon. They're sturdy and don't deflect much while standing on them. They held their ground well after burrying my truck to the frame rails in deep snow. I only wish the main tube was capped on both ends. Seems like an odd thing to leave open and a detail worth addressing. All in all a good sturdy product that fit up easily and works well. My 5' tall wife sure likes them.
