Steam Machine

I purchased this machine because jewelry cleaners weren't getting the results that I wanted. When I first received the machine I thought that it was the first generation model because it doesn't say Jewel Jet2 on it or the box that it came in. After writing to the company that I bought it from and reading the material that came with it, I soon realized that it indeed was the second generation item. It is easy to use and as far as I can tell works well. I have used it twice on several different rings, earrings, and a pendant. I couldn't tell a lot of difference in my rings at first because I keep them clean and take them to the jewelry store to have them cleaned. However, with the pendant I noticed the difference immediately! I had not taken the pendant to the jewelry store to be cleaned and it is so beautiful and sparkling. I will be able to tell more as time goes by. The product is good, the price is right, the delivery was very prompt, and customer service also worked well with me.

I received the Jewel Jet 2 Steam Machine today & used it to clean my wedding set. I had been using a liquid jewelry cleaner & soft brush regularly to keep my diamonds clean, but using the Steam Machine made a HUGE difference. My diamonds sparkle like crazy after steam cleaning. I followed the instructions carefully & didn't have any problems. I would highly recommend this machine.

I try and take good care of my jewelry, this includes keeping it clean. With the jewelry jet steam cleaner my jewelry stays clean longer and sparkles more. Not to mention it's better for your settings than a sonic cleaner. Only thing it's missing is a fill line to know how much water you have left in it but I'm still very happy with this product.

Had no effect on large citrine, which stayed cloudy no matter how much I steamed it. (Worked OK with diamonds.) Also, the cup-and-basket assembly had a tendency to jump out of the slot in the base, which should have had a higher rim to hold the assembly in place better. And the tweezers are nice to have, but it's very difficult to hold, e.g., a ring without the ring spinning around or sliding down one of the tines. Overall, a lot of money to spend for a product that doesn't work on all jewelry and is awkward to use.

This thing is great! Easy to set up, use, and clean. The results are FABULOUS. Everyone comments on my sparkly jewelry. I soak my jewelry in Windex, then clean with a baby toothbrush. Then I use this guy to blast away all the grime, and I'm left with beautiful jewelry that sparkles, shimmers and shines.

I chose this product from seeing a friend use hers. The quality results were equal to a jewel ears withouthaving to leave your home! Great product. Be sure to read items that you should not clean with thissteamer.

Product arrived and was defective (did not produce steam). Product appeared to be very light and cheap construction. Also of note, this product is not automatic. It requires pushing the steam button while holding your jewelry under the nozzle with forceps. If that doesn't appeal to you, suggest an ultrasonic cleaner instead.
